Wake up with the warm morning sun directly on the ski slope at Purgatory Resort! This corner unit features a large, wrap around deck giving you panoramic views of the aspen forest and San Juan mountains surrounding the area.
For Winter Visitors:
The true magic of this home is its direct, unobstructed access to the ski slope. Many properties at Purgatory Resort claim to be ski-in ski-out, but very few actually sit directly on a ski trail. This one does! Simply walk outside the back sliding glass door and you're on the slope with the ski lift in sight - just click in and ski straight down to the lift! When you're ready to take a break, or you're done for the day, just follow the beginner friendly ski trail down directly to the back door. This is truly a skiers paradise, and is one of very few condos on the mountain that offer this experience.
After the lifts close, enjoy cozy nights by the fire or some sledding out back with the kids! You might also consider taking a drive down to one of the nearby restaurants or bars on the mountain for some après-ski fun, or enjoy the natural, mineral-infused waters of the newly renovated Durango Hot Springs.

This property is a private paradise for summer fun, and when the leaves start to change in September, it's truly spectacular getaway.
Enjoy the summertime activities at Purgatory Resort with the village center just a few minutes walk down the mountain. Watch wildlife from your porch, or mountain bikers come down through to woodland trail right outside the back door!
If you're looking to set out on an adventure for the day, there are plenty of hiking trails nearby, some of which are right out the back door! Purgatory Resort also offers an assortment of fun activities perfect for kids like the Alpine Slide and the Inferno Coaster!
There's plenty to do in the surrounding area as well! Drive down to Durango and hop on the narrow gauge railroad for a day trip to Silverton, an old mining town tucked up in the mountains, or drive out to Mesa Verde, the awe inspiring cliffside dwellings that served as the home to the native Pueblo people for over 700 years!

Inside the Condo:
Our four bedrooms comfortably accommodate two full families - and it's the perfect setting for fun nights with family and friends. With a full kitchen, a wood burning fireplace stove, and updated interior amenities, you will be living in luxury for your entire stay!
The master suite has a comfortable king sized bed, and the two guest bedrooms upstairs are outfitted with queen beds. The upstairs loft has a twin sized bed, and the downstairs bedroom features a bunk bed (two twin sized beds) perfect for the kids!
At the end of the day, enjoy some home cooked meals in our fully stocked kitchen, or get ready for a night out in Durango!
We provide fresh towels and linens for each guest, along with complimentary, high-quality hand soaps, bath soaps, shampoo, and conditioner for a relaxing bath or shower during your stay.
A Message from the Owners:
My brother and I are dedicated to making your stay comfortable and clean. We replace the linens and towels often, and we have our five star cleaning service come through after each group of guests. If there is anything in particular you would like to have waiting for you when you arrive, whether it's a Keurig, Crock-Pot, or a Pack-n-Play (some previous special requests we've fulfilled), just let us know and we'd be happy to accommodate your needs.

No, we are not members of the club at the resort so we do not have access to the amenities down at the lodge.

Due to the high risk of wildfires in the area, we have opted to not have an outdoor grill.

This stay was just as advertised, There isn’t many other places that are truly ski in ski out for the price and this one is by far the closest walk, like out the porch and 10 feet up the bank and your standing on a green run , straight down to the main lift, I had to carve some stairs in the hard packed snow to make it safer for my wife but that was fairly easy, the run is at a higher elevation than the porch and snow melt from roof had made it kinda icy but really not that big of deal

Very nice, well maintained property in a perfect location. Truly ski in-ski out.Everything was exactly as in description, but the condo just feels smaller somehow than expected. We felt cramped with 9 people.

We had the BEST time skiing with our two adult children over Spring Break. The condo was cozy and location was perfect. We stepped right outside our back porch and skied right to lift 1. Then we took yellow brick road trail straight back to our back porch. The condo was so clean and had everything we needed. We also enjoyed sitting by the fire and watching skiers ski down the mountain from all of our windows. I communicated with David about a couple of things and he was very kind and responsive. We will definitely be back! Loved every minute! Wonderful Family Trip!
