About this country house rental
Cal Duc is a rural country house in Catalonia from the mid-19th century located in a natural setting with excellent views of fields, pine forests and holm oaks, hills with hermitages and small villages for which time does not pass. Located 2 km from Vilavenut, Pla de l'Estany district, 10 minutes from Banyoles (Girona).
The exteriors are spacious and well cared for ideal for unforgettable rural getaways with family and / or friends. The smallest ones will be available from anywhere. There is a fenced pool, barbecues, sports field and playground.
Cal Duc is made up of three independent rural accommodations La Nena (7 people), La Nina (7) and La Nana (8 people) fully equipped. Emphasize that La Nena and La Nina can communicate internally to become a single accommodation for 14 people. The decoration is light and careful combining furniture from the Elizabethan era (1833-1868) with furniture of rustic and colonial styles integrated with the bright colors of the walls.
The front garden is very spacious with a 10-meter pool completely fenced for the safety of the children, a covered barbecue and a mobile barbecue. To enjoy meals in the fresh air, each house has an automatic extendable awning on the facade. Behind the houses a few meters away, there is a beautiful pine forest and evergreen oak trees with another barbeque, a large table and stone bench covered with heather, swings, slides and zip lines. After a few meters there is also a football field with two goalkeepers, a basketball basket, a volleyball, a table tennis table and sand for the children
La Nana is a house with 8 people of today's style and the walls painted in bright colours. The house offers plenty of natural light for the spaciousness of the windows. On the ground floor there is the entrance hall where you can access the kitchen with pantry and the dining room-living room with two sofas and a fireplace. On the first floor there are two double rooms, two bedrooms with a double bed, two bathrooms and a living room with sofas, television and large openings with views.
All rooms in each house are equipped with bed linens. In the bathrooms there is a towel for bath and hand towel per person, hand soap, toilet paper and hair dryer. Scenic location. Wonderful pool that we have wed every single day. Comfortable accommodations with generous common space for group. Kitchen equipped for home cooked meals. Airy and didn’t need AC to be cool and comfortable.

We have been at Cal Duc more than 10 times, and it is a place that we always recommend to all our friends.
The house is very comfortable and has all the items you need.
We usually go there with friends and children and they all love a lot the outside spaces
It is a good place to make some barbecue outside while the kids play in the football pitch or in the swimming pool.
The surroundings are well conserved and really quiet.
The house is near Banyoles that has a lot of things to do and see.
The owners are really kind and they offer you help in case you need it. They also offer the possibility to take the children to a fun games area owned by them.
We organized there our 10 wedding anniversary and booked a special space that they have to put more than 80 people, it went great.
We will repeat for sure.

Trato exquisito por parte de Albert y familia. Lugar perfecto para desconectar y descansar. Instalaciones muy confortables, para mayores y niños. Lastima no poder aprovechar la piscina en estas fechas ya refresca pero nos quedamos con las ganas de disfrutarla. Ideal como campo base para conocer la garotxa. Tiene todos los utensilios para realizar barbacoas, paellas para el divertimento familiar.
