Sani Lodge & Cottages

We stayed here for 2 nights for their sani pass tour. We stayed in a standard room without ensuite toilet. The place is very cold in winter (early June), but there are heated blankets. There's a swallow's nest outside our room. We had dinner here twice, which comes as a three-course meal. I find their appetisers visually appealing and tasty, but not so much for the main course. I was very surprised to see the vegetables served plain boiled by the main, but maybe this is the culture. Desserts tend to be too sweet to my liking. We ordered a Lesotho Maluti Lager here to try. They have a list of alcohol options. There is wifi in the restaurant. They have a common lounge and a kitchen with a gas stove, microwave and fridge. There's free milk in the fridge. There is wifi here that you can connect sometime between 7 AM and 7 PM. We (a couple) shared the sani pass tour with another French couple, and this establishment honors their price system, where having more than 2 participants results in a cheaper price. They refunded us the additional funds. We also visited their dairy farm, and saw their man milking the cows.

Water from the toilet and shower is ice cold. There is scalding hot water, but it requires a bit of patience tinkering the two knobs to get the right temperature.

Food and staff wear excellent.would definately recommend this lovely place,
