A little piece of heaven

We had a wonderful time! The pool was enormous and the view just spectacular! We couldn't believe our own eyes. Our hosts were very kind and helpful - they took great care of us. One of the best vacations we've ever had!

The drive was a challenge and definitely for experienced drivers, but after a few times, you are able to get used to it and appreciate the beautiful views

Can highly recommend…but not too high, we want to come again and wouldn’t like seeing it booked out!

Beautiful location, heartwarming owner, beds are comfortable, everything available in the kitchen, the whole house is clean and the pool amazing. The owner comes by every evening to clean the pool, he lives in the house next door, but you are on your own all the time. Can highly recommend!

Gorgeous villa with amazing views : highly recommended

This villa is situated in an idyllic position at the top of a valley overlooking Lucca. The villa was spotless and very well equipped throughout, there was an extremely strong wifi signal (if you need it). Outside there's a lovely large garden with a super pool (deep so watch out for small children). There's a BBQ which we didn't use and a great under-cover area for outside dining/drinks. The views from the villa are stunning, and its a 20 minute drive to Lucca. The hosts Edo and Maurizio were always on hand to help and very friendly. I'd strongly recommend Casale Lavinia.

The road up to the villa is quite challenging and very narrow in places, but after a few days I was starting to get used to it!

So, wie man sich einen Toskana-Urlaub vorstellt

Der Garten (mit dieser Aussicht) und der Pool sind wirklich traumhaft! Dort kann man sich auch ohne Programm tagelang aufhalten. Trotz fehlender Klimaanlage ist es relativ kühl im Haus und zur Not gibt es auch noch Ventilatoren. Wenn man allerdings die Fenster über Nacht offen lassen möchte (was an heißen Tagen nicht anders geht), muss man mit vielen Mückenstichen rechnen. Küchenausstattung ist etwas mager, aber es geht. Alles in allem wunderschön dort.

Fehlende Klimaanlage bzw fehlende Mückennetze an den Fenstern. Einfache Küchenausstattung (für jeden nur ein Teller, dann muss man alles gleich wieder von Hand spülen). Betten für große Menschen unbequem weil zu kurz.
