This was the perfect place to reset! It felt so calm being in the trees with the sea in the distance. We walked everywhere felt very safe and the staff gave great recommendations for dinner places and always helped with everything. The accommodation is great, so clean the room was huge and had everything we needed. We would for sure stay here again.

Lovely place with nice comfortable rooms, good views and tasty breakfasts. Magda and the team are very welcoming.
We liked everything about it but worth flagging that it isn’t suitable for anyone with mobility issues due to the steep road up and all the steps.

It wasn’t our favourite. Everything was tired. In our view, it need money spending on it. The best was the friendly service given.
Most of the furnishings were very tired. The pool area was lacking in comfort and design and also needed new sun beds and umbrellas. It also needed a good jet wash. The trees were overgrown so lmost of the fantastic scenery was obscured.

We were disappointed by the room/accommodation allocated to us.
We feel the various types of accommodation (apart from the choice between self-catering and B&B) shown on the website, is in reality not available or not clearly/fully explained on the website. The owners were exceptionally friendly, gave us a room (which according to them was an upgrade from what we had booked), but this did not meet our expectations from what we saw and could have been our standalone villa as depicted on the booking.com website. The situation of having beautiful log-cabin villas with a porter on standby carrying your luggage up the many stairs to your villa/accommodation was not true. We were told that THAT section of the once, entire property (Boardwalk Lodge) had been sold off and is operated by other people (not specified). Hence our disappointment. If the latter situation is true, then it should be corrected on the website. The double room that we were given as an "upgrade" in comparison to whatever we had booked (we chose B&B as opposed to self-catering accommodation) was clean/neat with a lovely view but notwithstanding that, we had a room above us where we could hear people move about in the evening and it thus felt as if we were in someone's basement. The fact that we were handed a breakfast voucher for our last morning to use at The Girls restaurant left us thinking that since we were the last couple to check out the Monday, the effort was too great to offer us breakfast on the premises.
