About this chalet rental
This two-story duplex is spread out over 100 m2 located in the beach resort of La Mata within walking distance from the sea. It has three bedrooms, a spacious lounge, kitchen, two bathrooms, and solarium. It is equipped with furniture, appliances, dishes, linens and towels. There are air conditioning in the living room, Russian TV is also available. In front of the duplex there is a patio complete with outdoor furniture and a large sun umbrella. It is within walking distance to many cafes, supermarket restaurants and much more local amenities. The blue flag beaches of La Mata is about 500 meters. It can sleep up to seven people.
There is no English television but almost all the shows and movies on Spanish channels can be seen in the original version (English).
The process of check-in is from 15:00 to 19:00 from Monday to Friday and from 14:00 to 15:00 Saturdays.. Check out is from 09:00 until 11:00. Output or input outside office hours, Sunday, weekends and bank holidays has an extra charge of 20 euros. Office hours: Monday - Friday from 9:00 to 19:00, Saturdays 10: 00-15: 00, Sunday - closed. Upon check-in, a deposit of 200 euros is paid.

Overall, the property was ok. We had some issues in the beginning as the phone number provided on VRBO for the listing was never answered even when I tried having VRBO call the property manager. Once we finally were connected we had to go downtown to pickup the keys which was a hassle. When we moved in we found the house to be extremely hot. While there is AC on the second floor where the living room and kitchen is, there is not any in the bedrooms. 2 of the 4 of us ended up sleeping in the living room to try to stay cool. We did request and received fans the second day in which helped but one bedroom was completely unusable due to how hot it got despite the fans.
The location of the rental is great with only a short walk to the beach and to the bars. Location was the best part of the rental.
Once check in issues was resolved we found the management company to be very responsive and were quick to try to address any issues that came up.
While I would not rent this location again I would rent from the management company again as they were nice and responsive.
