Kanora lake resort

They helped me for late check in process and taxi hire when checked out and I appreciate that.

As advertised in Bookings .com a Kettle to be available for use .But no kettle was in the room. Access to my room via many narrow corridors runs around the building. We came with few baggage's and it is not an easy task.

Helpful staff, very friendly and honest , location is good and there is walking distance to maharagama town. The bed is comfortable and there is a balcony where you can see the lake but if you want to sit and enjoy the view you have to bring a chair from the inside. Prices for the food and beverages are very reasonable and there is a bell inside the room and once you press it helpful staff members will be at your door within 2 minutes.

If you want complete privacy you have to close your curtain completely so you don't get to see the view any more. But if you haven't closed the curtain distance people and people from the other rooms can see directly at your bed. There is no key for the room and the keyhole is covered with a plaster. So the only option is to lock the room from the inside. But if you are leaving the room to go outside there will be a problem. If you are looking for complete silence , you can hear other people's voices from nearby rooms and parking space and probably if you are a loud talker they will hear you too. A/C makes a lot of sound and I don't think it is working perfectly so you may have to use a ceiling fan.

Spacious room with a balcony, Ac and basic facilities are okay

Room was clean and spacious, hot water available and environment felt safe and comfortable.

Air conditioner was not working properly, when asked about it from room attendant, he was so rude that scolded us for reducing temperature beyond what he has set.
