The cabin is beautiful, clean, spacious, inviting, and right around the corner from Powderhorn. Our host was welcoming, the cabin had everything we needed and more allowing our family a relaxing and wonderful time. We had 3 teenagers and there was lots of room for all. The hot tub, stocked kitchen, laundry, games, deck, and fireplace were lovely to have. And the view was spectacular! The proximity to the slopes was superb, just a short drive up around the corner and we were there. We had a great time and would definitely stay here again.

Thank you for allowing our family to stay in your beautiful cabin. The grandchildren ranged from 3-12. We rented 2 different places because of the size of our family. The grandchildren enjoyed the hot tub and the parents enjoyed the back deck with the comfy sofa and chairs.

The house was beautiful, and a perfect location to hit first runs at Powderhorn. And there wasn’t a single thing that we thought, “Man, I wish we had X,” that the house didn’t have! Enough towels? Check. Salt and pepper? Check. Coffee pods? Check. Scissors? Check. A sharpie to write out names on plastic cups? Check. Dish soap. Board games. The list goes on. In short, the house felt like a home, and it was so much appreciated! We can’t wait to come back!

This is the second time that we have stay here, once in the January and once in July. It is in a great location for winter and summer activities. Besides the wonderful location, it was well stocked with every kitchen need and felt like a second home. Perfect for families to make memorable experiences. We will definitely be back!

Immaculate and spacious mountain cabin with spectacular views and super easy access to Powderhorn Mountain Resort. We enjoyed this cabin with a total of 4 adults and 4 children ages 7-14 with plenty of space for all. Cabin is well stocked with every kitchen appliance you could want, gas/charcoal grill, ping pong table, and games galore! Communication with the owner was easy and prompt and everything was as described. Fabulous experience all around! Would definitely stay again!

We enjoyed every minute of our stay in this beautiful, well-equipped cabin situated very close to Powderhorn. We had an amazing time investigating the Grand a Mesa area, hiking and fishing. We also spent a full day in Palisade touring wineries. The cabin was perfect with the amazing porch, basketball, corn hole and hot tub to round out the day. We had a great time and would love to return one day soon! Thanks for sharing your cabin with us!

I really can't say enough about this property. From the wrap around deck, great views from the main room, to the fire pit and hot tub, it is just a perfect getaway. From the initial request, working with the owner was seamless. Upon entering the cabin, we felt like we were staying with friends. It was clean and furnished nicely with comfortable beds, plenty of towels and games galore. Lovely large windows in the living room and throughout the cabin compliment the cozy warmth inside. Great amenities including clean hot tub, open kitchen, bunk bed in the third room (large inflatable mattress as well), and <5 minute drive to base of Powderhorn. Our party of 9 enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back. And how many cabins have fabulous sledding hills of their own?!

This log cabin nestled in near Powderhorn was our retreat during an otherwise busy weekend (up for a family wedding). The wrap around deck provided stunning views and quiet sitting areas from sunset to sunrise, and the house was clean, well equipped (particularly in the kitchen) and very well appointed. Tyson (owner) was very responsive to all of my messages.

The best vacation cabin for enjoying the Grand Mesa and Powderhorn

Tyson was so very sweet to us. We had a huge storm come through and Tyson came by and personally plowed the drive way. I know we could get out with our 4x4 truck but this left a huge impression on me that he took the time to do this. Overall, the house is very well stocked with herbs, condiments, and everything you could think of to use in the kitchen. We cooked for 9 people daily in the house and it was a chef's dream. The house itself is very comfortable with plenty of space. The kids loved the games and we played cards into the night after skiing each day. We loved getting into the hot tub to ease our majorly sore muscles. Overall, this was a perfect location and we plan to come back! I also really loved that we could leave all of our gear down in the huge heated mudroom. It was really nice to have it all contained so the kids did not have to search for their gear every morning. I can definitely see staying here in the summer and fall too to make fishing the Grand Mesa easier rather than driving back down to Grand Junction each day.
