The Vistagredos rural apartment is a very popular rural apartment in our rural house La Solana, because of its capacity we find the largest apartment in the house. It communicates with the patio on the north and with our large garden on the south. It is an apartment with lots of light.
Its name comes from its pleasant views, apart from being able to observe the entire garden of the house from its living room, kitchen and rooms you can also see the whole Sierra de Gredos, in its time with its particular beauty of its snowy peaks, and you can also see the picturesque villages of the region of La Vera as Piornal (town with the highest altitude in Extremadura), Barrado, Arroyomolinos de la Vera or Pasarón, all in the foothills of this spectacular Sierra de Gredos.

Between the Valle del Jerte and La Vera and within the region of the Monfragüe National Park (just 15 minutes away), La Casa Rural La Solana is located. In a strategic site as a starting point to visit all the North of Extremadura.

Casa Rural la Solana is located at the top of the village, very close to the Church and the Plaza Mayor. In the XVII century it was Casa Cilla, belonging to the bishopric of Plasencia. He still keeps vestiges that credit him.
There are 6 apartments for 2 to 6 people each, each apartment has a fully equipped kitchen. There are apartments with one or two bedrooms, doubles and marriages. All with sofa bed.
In the common areas we find a large patio of 250 m2. with barbecue and garden furniture, and continuing inwards you access to its large garden, of more than 400 m2 in which you can enjoy contact with nature and observe La Vera and some of its villages and La Sierra de Gredos.
The reform and rehabilitation is carried out in 2001 trying to preserve the most emblematic and significant as all its alfarge, always respecting the style of the rural environment. La Solana has a large patio with its centennial fire, a curious barbecue stone oven, table and garden armchairs.
We can access the orchard through a typical passage, decorated with ancestral farming tools, and contemplate the beauty of the mountains of Gredos, the Vera and the Valley, admire the ancient olive trees, contemplate the biological agriculture of the traditional family garden, sit in a wooden bench or slate, hear closely the croaking of frogs, the sweet sound of birds, contemplate the illuminated Tower of the majestic Parochial Church and feel the tolling of its bells.
The orchard communicates with an old Arab cellar, with its cistern and "nevero" (RAE: Place of the high mountains where the snow is conserved all the year.), Accessible to the traveler or client who wishes it.

Hemos estado este fin de semana y me voy con muy buenos momentos vividos. Ese jardin es especial, desayunar, comer, cenar bajo los olivos, no tiene precio... No falta detalle. La casa muy bien equipada, cada habitación con su baño y privacidad. Los propietarios muy buena gente, nos han aconsejado visitar lugares preciosos que, de no ser por ellos, no lo habríamos visto. En fin, encantados, volveremos seguro!

Muy buen alojamiento para disfrutar con sus comodidades, su patio y su jardín... Y además, estupendo punto de partida para visitar lugares interesantes a pocos kilómetros. Juanmi atento a todo y en todo momento. Un placer para los adultos y para los niños que se sentían como en casa.

Estuvimos mi marido y mis 4 hijos en este alojamiento. Nos sorprendió su ubicación dentro de una calle estrechísima del pueblo pero por dentro es muy grande, un gran patio interior y un bonito jardín con piscina. La decoración muy bonita y el apartamento con todo lo necesario. El pueblo en sí no tenía gran cosa pero estabas a entre 10 y 40 minutos de muchos lugares de interés.

Hemos ido desde Pamplona dos matrimonios y 3 niños de 3 a 7 años del 3 al 8 de Enero. Era nuestra primera visita a Cáceres. La situación de la casa es perfecta para visitar la provincia. llegas a cáceres capital en media hora por la autovía. El parque de Monfrague es precioso. La casa está de maravilla, al detalle, las camas muy cómodas, la ducha daba gusto, la temperatura de la casa la regulas tú y los propietarios son encantadores. Te dejan independencia pero a la vez están ahí para lo que necesites (a Miguel se le nota que le encanta ofrecer lo mejor para los huespedes). Un pena el tiempo que nos ha tocado estos días ya que no hemos podido disfrutar de todas las posibilidades del patio y del jardín. Otra vez será !!!!!Un abrazo a toda la familia. PD: que os diga Miguel donde comprar los dulces caseros de la vecina.
