Spacious apartment in a great location. The apartment is clean and comfortable. Amazingly quiet with the busy location, especially over the weekend when people meet at the bars downstairs. Coffee shops around the corner. Convenient location just inside the wall where you can rent a bike and go! A great stay!

This is a comfortable and very well equipped apartment in a perfect location --just inside the city walls. Communication with Wilma, the host, was excellent.

This place made us feel like we could actually live here! A nice 2 bedroom apartment! There is a great deli shop steps away where we bought eggs, cheese, vegetables, fruit and wine. That shop closes between 2 and 4 p.m. and then re-opens. We were also able to walk to the apartment from the train station, which is a bonus.

Our first impression was "beyond expectations!" Handsomely decorated and super clean! The bedrooms were in the back of the apartment, so any street noise was muffled. Our hosts met us and explained everything; a nice new elevator is available for those not wanting to climb stairs (2nd floor) we felt secure and safe. There was everything we needed to prepare meals and our hosts welcomed us with a few nice gifts of essential foods so waking up on our first morning in Lucca was effortless. We could easily walk to a nearby gourmet grocery, coffee shop, bread shop and restaurants - we were able to walk about 10 minutes to train station which linked us to several nearby towns.We were able to wash clothing; although i would advise if you are not familiar with the type of washer you may be a bit perplexed - but never fear - just YouTube the brand and you will find a complete video guide!! We loved our stay and i would reccomend this apartment for anyone from a romantic visit to a family to stay. We never really needed to contact the hosts but im sure if we did...they would be responsive - My only reason to give this lovely space a negative is so that we can keep it all to ourselves! Thank you for a most comfortable and easy week in Lucca! Grazie.
