About this cottage rental
Opened since 1995, "Aloe-vera" house has been restored by Lola Viúdez, its owner, who inherited it from her grandmother. Lola worked in Catalonia, but she decided to go to live in the countryside and restore her farmhouse which was practically neglected. In order to restore it, she made use of alternative construction techniques which were not aggressive with the environment. The result cannot be better: everything has been made with good taste and simply.
This open region with wide and bright skies can be gratifying for country and open-air lovers. Landscapes are wild and bare; although they are really arid, they have some vegetation and hidden springs. This land is full of scarps, although they are also lined with small water meadows where you can see white farmhouses that are surrounded by esparto grass, broom and prickly pears.
There are three houses and one studio flat:
- A house that must be rented in its entirety
- Two houses whose rooms can be rented separately; each one of them has 3 double bedrooms with bathroom
- One studio flat for 2 or 3 people

Hemos pasado unos días en familia muy relajados y entretenidos al mismo tiempo. El lugar es fantástico, con hamacas por cualquier rincón de la finca. Pero lo más destacable es el trato personalizado y atento de Lola.

Muy aconsejable. Ideal si estas buscando estar relajado, leyendo con el sonido de fondo de chicharras y pajaritos, bañándote en la piscina, paseando entre todo tipo de plantas... Gracias Lola por tu hospitalidad y esa paz que transmites. Volveremos.

Fuimos en familia a descansar una quincena a la Casa Aloe Vera porque tenía buenas oponiones y parecía reunir los requisitos que buscábamos. La dueña es muy amable y se molesta en que te encuentres a gusto, pero no está pensado para estar más de 4-5 días.
Aunque las casas están bien y el entorno también, la equipación de la casa es excasa para cocinar, si incluyes desayuno en la reserva es monótono, siempre lo mismo, acababa subiendo cereales y galletas para mis hijas porque siempre eran tostadas, aunque el pan y la mermelada lo hace ella.
Por lo que recomiendo la casa pero sólo para estancias cortas, tiene una piscina muy agradable y está cerca del pueblo y relativamente cerca de la playa.
