About this house rental
Quaint Cottage on the Davis Canal, on the quiet western end of Oak Island, 1 block from the beach. Gorgeous views of the marsh and canal! 2 BRs / 2 Baths (both with showers, no tubs) Full Kitchen with dishwasher and cookware. Wifi and Smart TV (no cable service, but you can login to your streaming services (Netflix, Amazon Prime, Hulu, etc)
Great dock with built-in seating - fish, crab, launch your kayak, or admire the sunrises and sunsets. Note: floating dock during low tide sits on the bottom - which is more suitable for kayaks. Public boat ramp and the new Lonerider restaurant are one block away!
*** ABSOLUTELY NO PETS or SMOKING— we have a daughter with severe allergies.***
**Rental Deposit and Rental Damage Insurance required for all rentals. Vacation insurance is highly recommended.
**Guests supply their own linens, towels, etc—or can rent linens on their own. *_*}~ All living spaces are on the second floor.
** Our calendar is always up to date- so make your request directly through VRBO.

Our week at Blue Piint Cottage was simply awesome. Our goal is rest and relax, and that was the week for sure! Location of this property is simply the best of both intercoastal scenery and beach access.Angela is wonderful to work with! Miss the island already, and we're looking forward to next year.

This is our second year staying at this house and we love the location, view, and the host is great. There was a slight hiccup with vrbo (no fault of the owner) and the host communicated and was great through the whole process. We are already looking to book again in the future!

Everything was present and came with the house for a week of wonderful beach vacation!

Had an issue with a couple of roaches in the house. Understand stuff happens but really wrecked it when one crawled up my leg while sitting at kitchen table. Just couldn’t get comfortable after that. Host did send an exterminator out but, couldn’t get past it. Wasn’t going to write anything but thought the next possible renter should be aware. :(((
