About this chalet rental
Chalet Altitude has direct access to the Prarion piste, with many trails nearby from the back garden and the maisonneuve chairlift is a 5 minute walk away. You can ski downhill to the Prarion ski station, ESF, ski hire shops, cafe and bus stop in 3 minutes. Access to the Bellevue (Kandahar) piste is a few minutes walk downhill..
All services are within easy reach.
Great for families and individuals! Sleeps up to 6 but often used for smaller numbers of guests.

The maisonneuve chairlift connects with a second chairlift, taking you to the Prarion summit .A great choice of mountain cafes and restaurants.
The Prarion Gondola takes you directly to the Prarion Summit ( Plateau).
If you are here to just relax, there are many places of interest to explore and also shops, restaurants and cafes in the vicinity..
The chalet decor is in keeping with the region.

A large flat screen TV.
Chalet Altitude can accommodate 6 adults or 1 or 2 couples with children. The large oak dining table seats up to 8 ( if you have visitors).
A discount may apply to 3 or less guests on enquiry.
The lounge area seats 6 and the sofa bed is a double.
The TV is flat screen. Complimentary WiFi. A large selection of DVDs, books and board games.
There is also a wood burning fire for winter and you can purchase firewood in the village. First night's firewood supplied for you.
Patio doors allow access to the large dining balcony from the lounge area or from exterior stairs.
The balcony has table and chairs. Sun Parasol.
The kitchen is fully equipped with large stove and oven, microwave, small oven/grill, fridge and dishwasher. Cooking utensils, cutlery and dishes are supplied.
Coffee makers ,coffee grinder, teapot, toaster, fondue and raclette provided.
An additional large fridge and a small deep freeze are located downstairs.

The large bathroom is located on the same floor has a bath ( with hand shower), a bidet, a washbasin and a toilet.
The main floor of the chalet also has a shower/utility room with washbasin, shower enclosure and washer and drier machines. A separate toilet. Patio doors to balcony and steps leading outside.
The ground floor has storage cupboards for skis, boards an boots and outdoor wear.
The garage is used for storage by owner.
There are 2 flat exterior areas for sitting , dining or barbequing. Barbeque provided and outdoor furniture in front chalet shed.

Parking in Private Drive.
A car is usually essential ( families with children) for most guests as the property is located uphill in Les Houches. A 30 minute walk from the Prarion Bus Stop Ski station. Only 15 minutes downhill on foot though...
A taxi can be hired to take you uphill from the train station or bus stop.
Groceries can be delivered free of charge to the chalet from Contact Carrefour supermarket ( located behind the Tourist Office) or ordered online from Super-U . Both in les Houches.
You will have magnificent views from all directions, with the Mont Blanc Massif to the right of the chalet front...
You can sip your aperitif from the balcony while admiring the view of the Chamonix Valley and the Mountain Range..

Guests loved their stay at Janet's chalet. The chalet was warm, cozy, well-equipped, and had amazing views. Access to ski areas, sleds for kids, and quick issue resolutions made for a wonderful Christmas in the alps.
