About this villa rental
The property is situated in a rural location and is part of the "Serra de Tramuntana" natural park which has got the " UNESCO WORLD HERITAGE STATUS".The villa is reached by a narrow country lane off the road to Lluc, approximately 4 kilometres from the old town. The location is extremely peaceful, where the only disturbance is the gentle sound of sheep bells in the background. The lane serves only one other property beyond the farmhouse. The outlook is across private farm land towards the woods and mountains beyond. Constructed over one hundred and fifty years ago as a traditionl farmhouse the property was subject of substantial refurbishment fifteen years ago, which included the installation of a swimming pool, the construction of two new bathrooms, kitchen and separate laundry and outside a shower room. The main entrance leads to a hallway and pleasant dining lounge area and to the new kitchen at the rear of the property.

Really lovely, spacious house with a fantastic pool at the front of the house. We had an a wonderful week, it was a very comfortable stay. Air con in main living room was fantastic & the 4 double bedrooms are a great size. Three of the bedrooms are downstairs and one upstairs (with aircon). The stairs are a bit steep up to the 4th bedroom. There is plenty of room & seating to relax both inside and out of the house. A car is definitely needed, the road to the house is very narrow, and turns to a track for a short distance before the house, but it’s perfectly manageable in a small/medium sized car. Pollenca & Port de Pollenca are close by with Lluc and Alcudia are not too far, so there’s plenty to explore and see in the area. Joan & his father were really lovely to deal with. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the house and we would stay there again in a heartbeat!

The old farmhouse is in a very remote, rural location, surrounded only by the tinkling of sheep bells, but only a couple of miles from the atmospheric old town of Pollenca and a 15 minute drive from the beautiful beach of Cala San Vicenc.
The house isn’t especially modern, but it is dark and cool and had all we needed inside with an excellent swimming pool outside, overlooked by a dramatic sweep of a mountainside on which wild goats tottered.
We were splendidly looked after with a regular cleaning service and a tasty supply of tomatoes from a nearby field.
The only drawbacks are bitey insects and wasps, and perhaps the level changes and stairs might prove tricky for those with mobility issues.
The house, in its private countryside, provided a great base for our relaxing holiday.
