About this villa rental
For those looking for the serenity of the countryside and everything of great the Algarve region has to offer, this property is ideal for you. This traditional farmhouse, located in a 50 hectare plot of land, offers incomparable privacy and exclusivity, and one could easily spend their entire holiday time exploring the vastness of the property, either taking strolls or bicycle rides through the vineyards and orange orchards.
A large supermarket, two golf courses, Slide & Splash (waterpark) and the city centre of Lagoa are all within ten minutes walking distance. In less than twenty minutes by car you can enjoy all the fantastic activities this beautiful region offers, such as amazing beaches, boat rides with grotto tours (the property is also close to the worldly famous Benagil cave), golf courses, theme parks such as Zoomarine, diving, surfing, the Algarve International Racetrack, amongst many other holiday activities.
The farmhouse dates back to 1850 and was recently refurbished to offer accommodation with rustic decoration. It boasts four spacious rooms, three bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen and an ample living room with fireplace and a snooker table. There are several outdoor areas for relaxing and enjoying the sun, a large swimming pool and a barbeque.

We had an incredible time in this house. Between the pool, pool table, and outside kitchen, there were days we never made it to the beach! We had long, relaxed days and loved the location & privacy of the house. We hated to leave!!

We loved our time at this Farmhouse.i knew from the moment I entered the door that I had made the right choice. This was a special holiday for us, meeting up with family after many years. I wanted comfort, space and authenticity, this house offered it all. The large Jumbo Supermarket was within walking distance and we took full advantage of it and barbecued many meals and ate at the long outside table at pool side.
The furnishings and art work indicated that the house had been in the family for a long time, which created a true Portuguese experience. It was a perfect holiday for us, thank you Francisco.

What a fantastic house! Beautifully renovated and kept by the family, spacious, comfortable and cool. The enormous pool table was a real winner with all of us, as was the table football outside. The swimming pool is spotless and huge, loads of sun-beds, a wonderfully equipped outside eating area with BBQ and plenty of shade. Bikes in the shed, a vast amount of land to explore - you couldn't ask for more. The supermarket it over the road, so you can walk if need be. The beaches are about a 10 minute drive and they are glorious. If you have children, Slide and Splash (although quite expensive) is 2 minutes down the road and our children had the best time, even if we found it quite a task but it's one for the team... On our arrival, our hosts had laid out a feast for us and continued to give help wherever needed through the week. I cannot recommend this house and it's hosts highly enough, 11 out of 10.

Myself and my family stayed in Val de Deus for a fortnight at the end of June 2018 and I, honestly, couldn't recommend it enough. It was a very relaxing holiday with lots of quality family time. My husband, myself and our five children had plenty of space in this house. The accommodation was excellent with everything one could possibly need during your stay, and every facility also. The bicycles were of a high standard. Francisco was most helpful regarding suggestions of places to explore/visit on the Algarve. He also left plenty of supplies(food and drinks) to tide us over for the first day or so. The location on the edge of a small town (Lagoa) was both very convenient (close to a supermarket) and very private, simultaneously.
Some of the local restaurants which we checked out on Tripadvisor were excellent........ authentic Portuguese food and great value. It certainly didn't have the hustle and bustle of a large resort like Albufeira but there was a taste of the real Portugal about it!
Overall, it was a great holiday.........I would highly recommend the property and Francisco was extremely helpful at every turn.
