Beautifully renovated, centrally and conveniently located townhouse in the heart of the historical town of Berwick upon Tweed. Large spacious rooms full of character. 4 bedrooms (2 King, 1 Double, 1 Twin) with 2 bathrooms and separate WC. Close to many local attractions including: Holy Island, Bamburgh Castle, Paxton House, the gorgeous Northumbrian coastline, Cheviot Hills, and less than an hour by train to the cities of Edinburgh or Newcastle upon Tyne. Best restaurants, bars, and pubs within walking distance. Free Wifi. Local free parking outside and close by.

Absolutely loved the townhouse, the decor was lovely and the house was really spacious. The owner Sarah was really accommodating and lovely too.
The only problem, which for us was a big problem was the noise from the restaurant downstairs, I didn’t realise it was a bar too and they had karaoke the first night until about 12.45 and the bar noise went on until about 1am the 2nd night, we were then woken at about 5-6am by noise outside, even the sounds of the bin lorry one morning sounded like it was in our room. I think it all sounded so loud as the windows in the townhouse are only single glazed, so you literally could hear everything going on outside & downstairs.
Such a shame as the townhouse really was perfect & beautiful besides that, but I like my sleep & didn’t get much of it, earplugs weren’t an option for us as we have young children (their room was actually round the back and didn’t get any of this noise)

Very comfortable and beautiful townhouse ideally located in the heart of historic Berwick Upon Tweed. Walking distance to restaurants, beach and tourist sites and shops. Loved our stay and we will be back.

This was a lovely apartment - beautifully furnished and decorated and very spacious. Perhaps best of all, the beds were very comfortable. Berwick seems to be up and coming and now has some great little eateries and bars but is close to the best beaches in the country and more history than you can handle.A great combination.Enjoy.
