The New London Inn

There is no breakfast.

There is no daily service for the room.

The location in New London

The room was supposed to have a queen sized bed but it was definitely a double bed. Not only was it small for two people who always sleep on a queen, but when one rolls over, the mattress makes a very loud noise. Between that noise and the squeaky bathroom door that needs oil (room 24) it made for a noisy night. We tried to change rooms to get a larger bed but the lady at the front desk was not friendly or helpful. The other two ladies at the front desk were warm and friendly. We have eaten at the bar here many times and it’s great.

Very nice. Well maintained. Very good condition for an older building

All good. In house restaurant is great as well.

Location, not insanely expensive.

Bed was awful. The building is from 1792. The room door does not fit the frame well and has big gaps and that's understandable but there are exceptionally bright lights on in the hallway all night with light flooding in the room like a spotlight. The carpet is stained and there was hair from a previous guest all over the shower. More care should definitely be taken. I have a friend who is a frequent visitor from out of town. I cannot recommend that she stay here.
