Great home for families. It was clean. Great location. Love that the downstairs is set up for kids-especially have a teen/pre-teen... they loved having an area to themselves.
Internet didn’t work at all, which was a huge bummer because a few of us did need to work and Internet was one reason we selected this house. We were told to contact the internet provider ourselves to figure it out-it was the weekend, and it also didn’t say who the internet provider was-that wasn’t helpful.
Also-I’m not sure if this is a thing in truckee in the summer but 2/3 nights we lost power at 6p and it really put a damper on our vacation. We planned to stay in and avoid crowds due to COVID. Having no power all night kind of ruined things. No one had any explanation as to why we had no power. We found a ton of flashlights/candles/lanterns in the house so it made us wonder if this is common. If so-that should probably be mentioned somewhere.

We had a blast over the 3-day long weekend. All kids were thrilled by the bunker beds, toys, board games and great backyard. Very spacious and well appointed furniture. Good collections of pans, pots in the kitchen. Jura coffee machine is a pleasant surprise. Grab a bag of good coffee beans and all coffee lovers are set.
Was lucky to stay after a storm. Lots of fresh powder in the backyard for us to play.
Definitely one of the best cabins we stayed in Truckee area. Kids already wanted to go back.

This home is beautiful! The gourmet kitchen and high end finishes leave little to be desired! The backyard is done very well and the wooded area sets a perfect tranquil scene! We brought our grandkids and they had a wonderful time swimming at the req center, renting boats at Donner and just hanging out playing Monopoly. The bedrooms and bathrooms are of equal quality and there is plenty of room to just hang out as a family. We would definitely stay again!
