    During the booking it was confusing between Greenwood and Sherwood as they are the same company but different locations. Its a way from the beach and need to go with shuttle which means will miss the lunch mostly The open buffet is limited and the items are disappointing. There is no Laundry service in the resort. Apart from that its clean and staff are very helpful,

    This the first trip where i finally got to understand how some hotels in the world get their “5 star ratings” and it’s definitively not because of their excellence in customer service. Since our arrival at this hotel we faced a shocking end of lunch service where guests are not greeted, not helped out even with drinks, tables not being looked after , messy, noisy and accident prone table clearings which continued accross the rest of our stay in each of the three main meals of the day. Lunch sorry to say was always the worst serviced meal with very poor options and even former meals were certainly being re-plated as salads, fruits and other “fresh” dishes looked anything but fresh. Our room’s housekeeping service was basically someone coming in to MAKE the beds and “change towels”, but certainly no actual cleaning happened whatsoever in the room. The waterpark was a complete shock and utter disaster as hotel seemed to be overbooked , you couldn’t even walk in between sunbeds that were crammed together, no proper pool bar but few “stations” providing pool side service , playgrounds with rusty and broken equipments. My kids asked to go to the indoor pool on the day of our arrival and didn’t go swimming again during rest of our stay there. This particular Pool water was fuming an excessive chloride smell and was allocated just besides the spa area which I didn’t even cared to try using due to how uninviting the spa entrance looked. We basically spent our following days leaving the hotel for the day and coming back in the late afternoon just to shower and have dinner together as a family. Left quite disappointed with my choice of stay within the extensive Lara area accommodation options and definitively won’t recommend to anyone. Felt it was a complete waste of money for basically what served as a bed and breakfast for us.
