Stunning Property in a Tranquil Position

Wonderful view and a large garden (completely fenced). Large house fully equipped. Sarnano is 10 minutes away by car. Good internet signal. We would book the house again.

Fantastisch huis met een nog meer fantastisch uitzicht. Fenomenaal. Als we ondanks alles toch twee verbeterpunten mogen noemen. Zorg voor een parasol en overweeg om een vaste airco aan te leggen want het kan wel warm zijn. De aanwezige mobiele airco red het dan gewoon niet. Maar ondanks deze twee punten is het een fantastisch huis. De reis meer dan waard.

Climate of the home In our opinion, the house is moderately insulated and therefore sensitive to temperature fluctuations. When you turn down the heating, before going to sleep and walk around the house the next morning or come back from an outing and have turned the heating back on, it's just cold and unpleasant. It then takes some time before the house is a bit warm again. In our opinion, the house is more suitable for summer recreation. That could be different, provided the owners are willing to pay attention to and invest in insulation and optimization of the heating. Due to its location, there are excellent opportunities for solar energy. The comfort of the home When you enter the house on the top floor (there are two living units in the house) you enter a beautiful room in which the living room and kitchen are located. The kitchen is fine and has all the comforts to prepare a good meal, store food and do the dishes with the dishwasher. There is a long table with 6 chairs around it suggesting the cottage would be suitable for 6 people. We seriously wonder if the cottage can accommodate 6 guests? Then we come to the furnishing. We wonder why there are so many of the holiday homes of the hopelessly ill-fitting sofa beds are placed. Nice and cheap and practical perhaps, but because of the combination function, you cannot sit properly on it and it is expected that a good night's sleep will be impossible. For us a motive not to rent the house anymore. Our advice; invest in a decent and comfortable sofa and buy a separate folding bed if you want to accommodate a 5th person as a guest. That makes your holiday home more valuable. The lighting in the living & dining room consists of only a few spotlights on the wall and on the ceiling beams, a twilight lamp on the sideboard and a floor lamp by the armchairs. These are so badly installed that the table and the sitting area cannot be used properly to read a book in low light, just to name an example. The fluorescent lamp in the kitchen may be practical, but it does not contribute to a homely and convivial atmosphere. The television, it was quite an experience to get a picture on it. The range of programs consisted of Italian TV channels. In our opinion you can make more TV channels available in a fairly simple way with international values, such as the BBC (GB), ARD and ZDF (German) BVN (NL) and so there will be even more possibilities.
