House / Villa - Cadaques

This wonderful and very spacious villa has a breathtaking view of Cadaques. The highlight of my day was to wake up early and soak up this stunning view by myself, with a coffee. Unbelievable stonework and details, one bedroom is actually built right into the mountain. There are steps up to two bedrooms/bathrooms and the other two bedrooms have external entrances. Not a problem for us but families with kids and elderly people should note this. Really lovely pool, lots of outdoor seating and so many places to hang out together or separately. Super comfortable living room for movies at night. This home is also filled with beautiful, large-scale art and lovely landscaping. Great kitchen with tons of plates, dishes, mugs, etc. Bring coffee pods (Nespresso), paper towels, tissues, soap, etc. 5-7 minute walk into the gorgeous sea-side, white-washed town with dining, gelatos! and shopping. There's a beautiful church in town as well. Notable incline and decline walk to and from the villa is not for those with mobility problems. Our parents did it but we stopped along the way, several times, to 'chat' but it was really for them to rest and catch their breath. Christa was great and we had a memorable stay. Would recommend!

The house served as a great stay for our extended family of seven. Plenty of room inside and outside, although other than sleeping, we spent much of the time on the great patio overlooking the town. The kitchen was fully stocked with all the necessary kitchen supplies. We made a few dinners, and other than meal ingredients, we had everything. Our host, Christa, was terrific. She was responsive to any inquiries. Besides the initial bottle of wine, once she learned it was a milestone birthday, the next morning she brought me a wonderful cake and two bottles of cava! It’s about a 15 minute walk to the center of town…with a good incline. I understand this could be a detractor for some, particularly on hot days, but I welcomed the steps, especially after a terrific meal in town and the chance to burn some calories. Overall, great town of Cadeques, beautiful sea nearby and terrific accommodations.

Einiges an Möbeln müsste ausgetauscht werden und ist in die Jahre gekommen . Fast alles an Sitz und Liege Möglichkeiten . Badezimmer wirkt ungepflegt und schmutzig . Das Zimmer im unteren Bereich ist eher eine Abstellkammer . Der Ausblick ist top und der Kontakt nett .
