Ole Munyak-4 bed house on the hill

What a fantastic property it was. The care taker Patrick was very gentle person and he showed us arouond the house and facilities. He was quick to ask if we want him to clean the utensils after our meals. The property boasts of great view of Longonot on your left and Lake Naivasha on your right. It was very sunny day but inside the house was cool. During evening, cool winds were refreshing. At night the stars and planets looked so many as compared to Nairobi since there is no pollution there. Overall a great place to spend your time with friends and families.

It was a return stay . The host is fantastic and the caretaker is so good. We loved our stay again as the host and caretaker are the most understanding and they are available at all times. The place has breathtaking views and sparkling clean. You can always do your bbq . Thanks Aman for hosting us again.

Good news: -unique and rustic house -Great environment that's properly outdoor -Great sights in the morning 🌄 & evening, with Mt Longonot in spectacular view -rooms are well sized -Green & Sustainable model, with use of PV solar -Good service available from Patrick -Good value for money, ideal for family getaways with 4 bedrooms ➕️ open plan kitchen, Great ambience for family getaways and living and catching-up together -Great rooftop, can be improved

Areas to improve: 1) Lack of TV 📺 for family especially kids 2)Alternatively offer other entertainment like a music system 3)Improve kitchen worktop surfaces (broken wood surface) 4)Waste disposal is lacking....imagine having a group of ladies who need sanitary boxes 📦 for pads 5)Outdoor seats 💺 at rooftop...Replace, they're rickety 6)Improved beddings 🛌, invest some cash on new look & good-feel beddings

Beautiful view over Lake Naivasha from the rooftop. It's a peaceful, quiet and spacious place. Communication with the host was very good. There is warm water and you can enjoy a shower.

It's not so easy to find the place. We were expecting a little bit more comfort and can't share reviews of other guests, e.g. toilette flushes were not working well or pillow slips in seating area on the roof top were ragged. Unfortunately, there was no power available to charge our phones and laptops. When you stay there for two nights, this is quite annoying. When we asked for power a very noisy generator was put on at night for half an hour. That was not really helping us. There was power for the TV and some fancy lights in the garden but no power from the sockets to charge your devices. Even the fridge did not operate at night. During daytime no light was available inside. But it's a little bit dark and you could really need some light for cooking. However, a few hours before we left the place the caretaker offered a power bank.
