Location is perfect and very close to the city and walking trails near the river. Overall, townhome is very cozy and beautifully decorated. Everyone had a bed they found comfortable and slept well in. Generally we have found beds to be too stiff at rentals, but these were on the medium to softer side. Bedding was clean. Upstairs bathroom small with limited space for placement of bathroom essentials. Much more storage space in downstairs bathroom. Kitchen and showers had some visible mold issues. Many utensils and cookware were worn down and we did not feel comfortable using them.

We enjoyed our stay. The views of the dry creek were great. The beds and pillows, etc. were quite comfortable. The kitchen is serviceable but really small and shabby. The cabinets and drawers didn’t fit and it just seemed like someone knocked them together in the driveway. We did enjoy it otherwise

This home is very comfortable. It was well stocked with what we needed. We enjoyed the Edison lights on the patio and balcony for sitting outside at night. The back yard overlooks a nice area with a creek. The neighborhood is quiet and great for taking a walk. It’s also very easy to get to downtown and enjoy great restaurants. The host responded quickly when I sent messages and even messaged me to make sure we arrived. I will definitely stay here again when I’m in Austin!!

Nice house tucked away in quiet cul de sac. A few minute walk to Zilker Park and a few minute drive to downtown. House was clean and very comfortable for our family. Great view out the back window of the trees and the creek that borders the back of the property. The host were very attentive. We would definitely stay here again!

We really enjoyed our time at this duplex. It was a very peaceful street, a fantastic neighborhood for walking in the mornings, and it was conveniently close to Barton Springs. We ended up walking to Barkin Springs (the swimming hole for dogs) every day, as our dog LOVED swimming there on the hot days.

This was a perfect rental for a taste of eclectic Austin. Very cute and cozy with everything we needed. So close to Barton Springs pool for cooling off and people watching and to great eateries, coffee shops, and downtown. Just half an hour away from Lake Travis and 15 minutes from airport. Zilker was a great place to stay, check in was super easy and plenty of parking. The house was very relaxing and quiet and almost didn’t feel like it was in the middle of a city. It was very clean and myself and 4 other adults were more than comfortable.

This house was perfect for our family of 5. The location is close to everything we wanted to visit - everything was about a 5-15 min drive away. The house is at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac which we really liked. The house had all the amenities that we needed - even a welcome bottle of wine! The owner was easy to communicate with and quick to respond. Overall, very pleased with the house and would highly recommend!

Stayed with two other couples -- this property and neighbourhood are unique and beautiful. Weather didn't cooperate (so cold, even for Canadians) but we still had fun downtown. Owner's restaurant and activity suggestions were very helpful. Would definitely recommend.

We had a great stay. The Condo was very nice but had a few issues with AC/Heat. Those were resolved quickly. It was a little tight for 6 women traveling on a girls trip, however would be great for a family! The location was excellent and the house was very clean and had everything we needed.

This is a nice property in a great location. We were visiting my daughter on Father's Day. The property did have a small problem with bugs, mainly cockroaches and spiders, but we just made sure we did not leave any food out, and it was not that big of a deal, as this is a common problem in Texas. The owner let us check out late, and that was the clincher for us choosing this property over others. This would have been a 4 star review, but Sally the property manager was very unprofessional in her communication with me. We had brought our own Roku with us, the higher end model, and we accidentally left the remote behind. Since it is a bit costly to replace, I emailed Sally to see if she could send it to us at our cost. She replied that she would look for it when she went to the property. I replied asking her if she was going to the property that day, as I knew she had renters coming in behind us for that weekend. She never replied. I emailed her again a day later, asking if there was an update, as I needed to make a decision about whether or not I should replace the remote. Again, no reply. On the third day, I decided I would give her one more try to see if she was going to respond. I mentioned that I was waiting to submit my review (I generally like to wait until all matters/communications are complete on vacation rental properties before leaving a review), but that if I did not hear back from her, I would go ahead and submit one. She replied back within 5 minutes, accusing me of threatening her, and mentioning, for the first time, that she would not even be at the property until about a week later. Had I known that, I would have asked my daughter to go and get the remote. She has continued to send me harassing emails, when all I was requesting was an update on a request I had sent to her before I left my review, which would have been a 4 star (because of the bugs) but is now a 3 star because of her sending me comments like this: "I have never ever had a past Guest threaten me with a bad review because they were irresponsible with their property. Make it know that a dusk complaint against you and your threats to me have been noted with homeaway. I encourage you to think about you response and threats to me. Completely in called fo." So in summary, it is a nice property with a slight bug issue, but the manager does not deal with inquiries or complaints very well, and the communication is slow after she receives payment.

We were in town for about a week for a wedding. We rented the home for 3 families coming from out of town. The home was very comfortable and plenty of room and privacy for all. When we are back in town, there would be no hesitation to stay at the tree house again.

The House was clean and well maintained on a nice quiet block. Close to parks and restaurants. Enjoyed reading and coffee on the terrace in the mornings. Would definitely book again next time I come to Austin.
