I stayed here for a month with my family, great location close to Zilker park and S. Lamar. We loved the convenience of the washer and dryer even though the house was well stocked with towels. Kitchen is small as represented in the pictures, but functional.

My sisters and I try to get together at least twice a year. My sisters all live in Texas and I don't so we meet in Texas each year. We like to play games when we aren't out shopping, eating or going to movies. This house had 4 beds, perfect for us. A dining room table good for games and plenty of towels, even a lot of extra ones and all you would need in a kitchen. It's older but nicely decorated and has a great outdoor sitting area. The owner/manager was really quick at replying to any messages we sent and we had a great stay.

Location is perfect and very close to the city and walking trails near the river. Overall, townhome is very cozy and beautifully decorated. Everyone had a bed they found comfortable and slept well in. Generally we have found beds to be too stiff at rentals, but these were on the medium to softer side. Bedding was clean. Upstairs bathroom small with limited space for placement of bathroom essentials. Much more storage space in downstairs bathroom. Kitchen and showers had some visible mold issues. Many utensils and cookware were worn down and we did not feel comfortable using them.

This is a nice property in a great location. We were visiting my daughter on Father's Day. The property did have a small problem with bugs, mainly cockroaches and spiders, but we just made sure we did not leave any food out, and it was not that big of a deal, as this is a common problem in Texas. The owner let us check out late, and that was the clincher for us choosing this property over others. This would have been a 4 star review, but Sally the property manager was very unprofessional in her communication with me. We had brought our own Roku with us, the higher end model, and we accidentally left the remote behind. Since it is a bit costly to replace, I emailed Sally to see if she could send it to us at our cost. She replied that she would look for it when she went to the property. I replied asking her if she was going to the property that day, as I knew she had renters coming in behind us for that weekend. She never replied. I emailed her again a day later, asking if there was an update, as I needed to make a decision about whether or not I should replace the remote. Again, no reply. On the third day, I decided I would give her one more try to see if she was going to respond. I mentioned that I was waiting to submit my review (I generally like to wait until all matters/communications are complete on vacation rental properties before leaving a review), but that if I did not hear back from her, I would go ahead and submit one. She replied back within 5 minutes, accusing me of threatening her, and mentioning, for the first time, that she would not even be at the property until about a week later. Had I known that, I would have asked my daughter to go and get the remote. She has continued to send me harassing emails, when all I was requesting was an update on a request I had sent to her before I left my review, which would have been a 4 star (because of the bugs) but is now a 3 star because of her sending me comments like this: "I have never ever had a past Guest threaten me with a bad review because they were irresponsible with their property. Make it know that a dusk complaint against you and your threats to me have been noted with homeaway. I encourage you to think about you response and threats to me. Completely in called fo." So in summary, it is a nice property with a slight bug issue, but the manager does not deal with inquiries or complaints very well, and the communication is slow after she receives payment.
