Cretan Sunset Villa Heated Pool

The location was perfect for us as a family and stunning views. The accomodation was comfortable and very prompt response when we needed. Will recommend

The bathrooms were a little disappointing. There were no shower screens, which made it very wet. Also very little space to hang or keep clothes. But overall other aspects made up for this. Might be something to look into make experience better.

Es hätte mehr Sonnenschutz auf der Terrasse geben können. Es gab etwas Sonnenschutz am Pool aber gar keinen im Sitzbereich. Bei 33 Grad nicht perfekt.

Everything. It was really clean and the view is beautiful. The pool is really clean too

Nothing. Matbe just the pillows were to big for me but that is very subjective

The villa was clean, had good kitchen facilities and had a great view looking over farmland towards the sea. It also had a great sunset in the evening.

The location isn’t where it says it is. The map on booking.com states that it is 300 metres from the kavros main strip - it isn’t, it’s a 20 minute walk up hill down a dirt road without a pavement. This was a particular concern for us given we were travelling with a 70 year old who has mobility issues and a 2 year old. We messaged the host to ask her about why the location didn’t match the booking and she simply just sent us a taxi service with no explanation. In fairness the taxi service was great, but it was an additional expense every single day that we didn’t account for. Secondly when we arrived they had forgotten to provide a cot despite us specifically requesting so on the booking. Whilst there is a lovely view of the sea in one direction, there is unfortunately a deralict garage right next door with building works going on throughout the day. Lastly, on our check out day we had asked for an extended check out (check out is at 11) as our taxi to the airport was at 2.30 from the villa. We asked the host for a later checkout and she had told us that this wasn’t possible. This was despite there not being another booking that day. We assumed that maybe she declined our request because there would be cleaners arriving, but this wasn’t the case either. My dad stood outside the villa for 3 hours with our cases (to save us dragging them into the main town and back for a short period). Nobody arrived at the villa, so despite the fact that the villa wasn’t in use for those 3 hours, the host still wouldn’t let us extend our stay. We thought our request was reasonable given that (a) there were no other bookings, (b) the cot was not there on the first night and (c) the location didn’t match our booking. Our request was declined.
