The hotel is situated on the highway and is very easy to reach. There is parking available for 5-6 cars outside the hotel but in a service lane and not on the main road.
The rooms are very spacious and were equipped with water bottles, toiletries and enough blankets and pillows.
The food was good and since there were only 3 people in the hotel who had opted for dinner during our stay dates, they offered us to order a la carte dishes for the two people without any restrictions.
The breakfast which was in buffet style was a bit lacking though with very little options.
Overall it’s a good hotel as far as location and services are concerned. We found it a bit underwhelming for the price paid though. Especially the breakfast. We got a bit lucky that we could eat of our choice in dinner but I have a feeling that as part of buffet, dinner wouldn’t have been great either and hence the complaint about the value for money. We would around 6500 rupees for 1 night including breakfast and dinner for 2 people.

Located closest to the national park, Sunbird has large, well appointed rooms which are clean and well maintained. The staff is courteous and friendly. The manager tries to go out of the way to make the guests comfortable. Only two little things need an improvement. They should put shower cubicles inside the bathrooms to prevent the floor from getting completely wet and there should be more food options for guests who drop in between the meal timings. Rest everything is perfect.

Hotel is very close to the park. Room & bathroom are clean. Service is prompt. Hotel staff and owner are very helpful.
