Cobblestone Inn & Suites Fairfield Bay

The breakfast was very good. The staff were all extremely nice and helpful.

Only negative would be there is not enough parking

I really liked the location. It’s within walking distance to restaurants and activities like bowling and mini golf. The room was a decent size and I liked that there was a restaurant within the hotel that hosted a live band. The staff was friendly upon checking in and out. The rooms were generally clean and there were plenty of towels stocked. The beds are firm but comfortable. We also enjoyed the coffee bar downstairs.

It’s strange that they don’t have a designated parking lot. The breakfast doesn’t have an attendant to check things or assist. It’s a pretty basic breakfast, but it is decent. The elevators sound like they need some repair. It was a little unnerving listening to the creaks and whines between the floors.

The restaurant was a horrible. They didn't have to-go boxes. We were staying in room 114 and i asked could we take our food on plates. The long haired blonde with curly hair rudely said no. She was completely annoyed by me asking anything. We ordered chip and dip x2. They didn't have to go supplies so our dip was in a cup which was good but the chips were in a black grocery bag , would had been fine but we only got like 10-15 chip per cup of cheese dip. Which for $23.00 for dip is outrageous. Spent over $90.00 in the hotel restaurant plus $230.00 on a room We should had went back to The Dock. We had lunch there and it was good. But the convenience of the inhouse restaurant was a good highlight until we visited and saw how the staff was with the customers We own our a business and if we treated our customer base like this person treated us we would not have a business If she doesn't like her job she needs to find a new one!! Spoke with the manager the next morning of the restaurant and he said they had folks call in so he understood why she had the bad attitude. He didn't want to hear anything about how bad the service was and the food wasn't good either. The porkchops were still very pink in the middle and and just under cooked, I would not recommend this place. And I do travel a lot for business. Told him there was only 2 people at the bar. When I got there and they were drinking and there was one lady who got a to-go order she got the last to-go supplies. This was our 5th trip to Fair Field Bay this summer.
