About this house rental

Located 5 minutes drive from the famous sandy beach of Calheta, in a quiet area with beautiful view on the slope of Calheta and Ocean. And only 25 minutes of Funchal is the capital city of Madeira It's backed by hills, and known for its harbor, gardens and Madeira wine cellars. The centuries-old Funchal Cathedral, which mixes Gothic and Romanesque styles, is notable for its carved wooden ceiling. Fronting the harbor is the São Tiago Fortress, built in the 1600s. It now houses the Art Museum.

The house is overall very nice and cozy. We really enjoyed having breakfast outside and enjoying the view, cooking together in the well-equipped kitchen or swimming in the pool. One small drawback is that the house always smelled a bit musty and there were stick stains under some beds.

The holiday home is well equipped and offers enough space. The location is convenient for day trips in all directions of Madeira. We enjoyed the vacation very much.

Zona muito pacífica e acolhedora! Perfeito para férias em família e com todas as condições para cozinhar/lavar e disfrutar como se estivéssemos mesmo na nossa casa! Piscina e claramente um plus e os banhos de sol que a localização oferece é simplesmente estonteante🔝🔝e de referir que fui no Inverno ❄️ 😅 Temperaturas sempre agradáveis 🌞 Adorámos 😍
