A beautiful attic apartment located in the heart of the Capo Gallo Nature Reserve. Formerly a fishermen’s home, it has recently been renovated in a Mediterranean style.
The careful selection of materials and its location make this apartment unique.
The attic apartment is located 15 meters from a small beach with crystal-clear water, 50 meters from the Barcarello cliffs, and 100 meters from the Capo Gallo Marine Reserve, with its pristine waters and nature trails. After a day at the beach or a boat trip, you can browse the shops in the city center or take the bus to visit Palermo’s monuments. In the afternoon, you can alternate between enjoying an aperitif on the terrace and a happy hour at one of the many seaside bars in Sferracavallo, Mondello, or Addaura.
The apartment is equipped with Wi-Fi using hyper-fiber technology, ensuring you always have a fast, reliable internet connection for your leisure time or any work-related needs.
The master bedroom offers a sea view, and from the balcony you can appreciate the beauty of the gulf; next to it is a small bedroom with a single bed and a skylight. Downstairs in the living room, there is a comfortable double sofa bed.
During the last week of September, you can watch the famous SS Cosma e Damiano fireworks display from the terrace.

This flat is situated on the waterfront of a quaint yet immensely popular beach community. Although there are a multitude of stairs to navigate in order to reach the front entrance with yet another set internally to access the bedrooms upstairs, the vistas from the living space and balconies are incredible. Giuseppe, the host, uses WhatsApp to communicate which facilitates translations. All internet, kitchen and laundry amenities are as represented with an internet speed that will not disappoint. Conveniently located right around the corner is a grocery store with an inhouse deli/bakery (bread not visible and must be asked for), a hardware store; boutique vegetable, meat, and fish markets; and even a small outdoor coffee cafe to start your day the Italian way. Although the subway station requires about a 15-minute walk slightly uphill, using the train to commute to Palermo and return to Sferracavallo is a snap, only costing about 3 with the benefit of an all downhill walk to 17 Scalo. Oh. And if the thought of cooking after a day of water sports seems unappealing, there is a cluster of seafood restaurants and spaghetterias along the waterfront and on the main street nearby. So convenient. So very "right." Enjoy!

We arrived late evening due to a 1hr delayed flight, and were shown in by the delightful Laura, and her partner who very kindly carried up our suitcase. Many thanks to both of them, as Guiseppe was out of town. We woke to the most amazing, spectacular view of the harbour and village, and the location was wonderful, with lots of restaurants, food shops, and a fabulous ice-cream parlour nearby. It was very easy to get the train or bus from there to Palermo, Isola de Femmine, Mondella and the airport.
The 50 marble steps up to the property were no problem at all, but the dozen wooden stairs up to the bedrooms were horrid. So narrow and creaky, and as you needed to hold on, it was difficult to carry anything up or down.
We had poor, cold water flow and an awful gas smell on the first day, but this was fixed 24 hours after our arrival. The appartment was adequately equipped, but the shower unit was the narrowest I’ve ever used, and the appartment was quite tired, with a rocky toilet, ill-fitting sink plug etc, and could really do with some TLC. A spoke fell out of the terrace parasol the first time we tried to put it up, so we didn’t try that again, and the blind in the second bedroom - single bed - stuck and wouldn’t close. It wouldn’t take too much to make the appartment a much nicer place to holiday in.
