Villa Clara is a getaway boutique hotel located in the most beautiful port of the island of Leros in Agia Marina, Greece. Villa Clara is a 7 bedroom mansion (all equipped with bathroom, toilet and AC) An architectural neoclassical gem built in 1908 preserved by the Greek archeological authorities and carefully renovated. Within a stone’s thrown from the beach and the buzzing heart of the Island, the experience is unmatchable. Every room is unique, with its own "caché" and art pieces, furnished with pastel colours, designer pieces , and have high ceilings and charming old wood floors. The art is hand-picked from a mixture of prominent Lebanese, Western, Greek and Arab artists, such as Maria Halios, Nada Debs, Jean Marc Dallanegra, Taghrid Dargouth, Gio Ponti, Vasarely, and Marwan Sahmarani. Each room features a magnificent hand blown glass damascene chandelier, custom-made for the hotel, as well as an en-suite bathroom. All Rooms are furnished with the best Greek coconut organic fiber fabric mattresses brand Cocomat. All rooms have AC's. You can dream in our cast iron bathtubs while enjoying the best Greek natural products amenities "Apivita". Our garden is ideal for sipping a cocktail for sunset after a swim, or relax and lay back for a nap on the grass or on the capoK artisanal hand made cushions while reading hotel-provided books and magazines. if you are feeling more into a cocooning mood, our “Diwaniya” living room offers a naturally cooled space with a home cinema at disposal. Island: On the island, there are many exquisite restaurants, pastry shops, bars and coffee shops. Mylos restaurant is 200 m from the house, on the sea and offers refined food with fresh lobster, urchins, fresh tuna, etc. Located on the fisherman harbor of Agia Marina, 50 m from the house, Paradisiako pastry and coffee shop offers a great selection of homemade cakes, ice creams, sorbets, almond tarts, etc. Despite the superbly laid back vibe, there are more than enough activities to keep you occupied, but even then, you can do them at your own pace. The island of Leros offers one of the best spots for scuba diving. Hiking, cycling, water skiing, boat rentals, fishing, etc. An 11th century Byzantine castle dominates the island and 7 beautiful old windmills. You can also go on day trips to Lipsi and other small islands around Leros, there are two boats the barbarossa and agio georgios that leaves daily at 11 AM from agia marina and returns at 19 pm daily during summer, every trip includes swimming in the white sand beaches of small islands like Aspronisia, Marathi or Tiganakia and free ouzo with MeZze.
