About this villa rental
At the heart of a Mediterranean garden, Villa Sykia is a luxury contemporary villa located in the area of Glyfada, one of the most beautiful beaches in the Cyclades.
Facing Paros, its prominent position offers breath taking views on the long and sandy Glyfada Beach, Mikri Vigla and Alyko capes, as well as on Zeus' summit.
Located at less than 3 minutes by car or 10 minutes’ walk from the beach, Villa Sykia also gives access to nearby grocery shops and several delicious tavernas.
With 8 bedrooms (of which 7 with sea view), 8 bathrooms and 8 independent toilets it can welcome up to 16 people (flexible beddind arrangements).
The outdoor areas consist of:
- a very large terrace that includes an outdoor kitchen and BBQ, a large pergola covered dining and lounging area
- various private terraces adjoining the rooms and hidden in the garden
- a magnificent overflow pool on a large terrace and its shaded lounge
- in front of the 4 garden rooms, a large terrace with outdoor kitchen, dining and lounge areas

In the main house, the ground floor consists of an open plan living area with a living room, dining area and fully equipped kitchen; a bedroom with terrace and direct view to the pool and the sea, a private bathroom with toilet; A small storage room, a guest toilet.
The ground floor opens onto a very large terrace and a dining area covered by a large pergola.
On the first floor, two bedrooms, each with a private bathroom and toilet. One of the two bedrooms opens onto a terrace and a lounging area under a pergola. These two bedrooms offer an extraordinary view to the sea and the mountains.
On the lower floor, a large bedroom with a shower room, TV screen and access to a small courtyard.
Located in the dream Mediterranean garden and facing the sea, 2 independent studios with 2 bedrooms each. Each room has a shower room and private toilet. These 4 rooms open onto a large terrace under a pergola.
An independent outdoor kitchen allows guests to organize their meals in a flexible way.
The main house and the two studios are fully equipped with air conditioning and fans. The villa also has four outdoor showers and ample parking spaces. The property is walled and gated.
Note that there is full flexibility to either install 8 beds in 160*200 (QUEEN) or to go up to 14 beds in 80*200 (single beds) and 1 bed in 160*200 (QUEEN).

Our large group (14 people) fit easily and comfortably into the bedrooms of Villa Sykia. The common space is large and beautiful. The kitchen is well equipped. Outdoors, the pool and poolside spaces are perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring Naxos.

This was an amazing proeprty. Cant say enough about the home, grounds, check in, proeprty manager, etc. Everything worked out great, no issues. Our group had 12 people ages 3 to 69...The home had a perfect layout for our group. Kitchen and living area is great. We cooked breakfast every day and dinner at least 4-5 times, and used the grill. There were great places to eat/dine which were close by and a supermarket which was 2min away. The beach in front of the home was our favorite and, there were about 4-5 other beaches within a 5-10min drive.

Naxos is a bit of a travel for a Vancouver family. But Greece was calling and Naxos seemed like the right island. We sailed from Athens on a private charter to explore the islands for a week before getting dropped on Naxos. The charter was not cheap, and my take way from what was the best vacation I’ve taken in the past 25 years was this. Next time we stay on Naxos, rent this exact Villa, rent scooters and learn to Kite Surf. Forget the sailboat. This villa is honestly one for the finest homes I’ve ever seen. As a Tv producer I’ve seen my share. The lighting, layout, quality of furnishings, thought put into environment are 10 out of 10. The influence of a discerning eye is evident in every corner. The best of everything. My only reservation is writing a review which will make this home harder to reserve next year. It’s that good. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE. Don’t hesitate. Get your friends or extended family and book this magnificent home. And you can thank me later, Greg S.
