About this house rental
Well appointed over sized cape with lots of windows in quiet wooded neighborhood on a paved dead-end street in Edgartown. Centrally located and convenient to all that down island has to offer. A great family house! Comfortable living room with flat screen TV, and adjoining den area. Sparkling kitchen with granite counter tops, gas stove, and stainless steel appliances. Also on first floor is a half bath and bedroom with two twin beds. Second floor has full bath, master bedroom with flat screen, another bed room with queen size bed and a flat screen, and the fourth bedroom with two twins. Large private deck through slider off kitchen. Great back yard with lush grass and mature perennials and tall beach grass. An outside shower to wash off the beach sand from your feet! We do a Saturday-Saturday rental turnover in Season late June, July and August.

We had a really nice time at this house. It was clean and comfortable. The only thing to know if you are staying there is that there are no food staples there (we bought and left salt and pepper). Otherwise worked really well and Paul was very easy to communicate with.

The Good News: The house was decorated very nicely, was immaculately clean and well equipped. The property was nicely landscaped and the house had a lovely deck.
The bad news. The listing was very misleading. It said it was air conditioned which we took to be central air but it only had room units in 3 of the bedrooms and one for the whole downstairs. The listing stated 2 and 1/2 baths but it only had 2. The 4th bedroom was very tiny, not really suitable for 2 adults, maybe 2 children! So between the missing 1/2 bath and the tiny 4th bedroom, no way could this house sleep 8 as claimed.
Finally I want to warn anyone considering this house that it cannot be canceled. We discovered that the house was not centrally air-conditioned 6 days after making the deposit, which was September 2022 for a July rental. Unfortunately for us, the information concerning cancellations was on a drop down menu, we hadn't noticed. This information should not be hidden. It should be very visible since it is not standard for VRBO
