Great location, right by the harbour and with a private parking space nearby. Well equipped rooms and comfortable beds.

Not much. Property is a short walk from the parking space and is over 3 floors so anyone with mobility issues this property’s probably not for you.

Well-equipped, characterful cottage, right by the pretty harbour.

Lovely characterful cottage in great location, right on the harbourside, within easy walking to shops, pubs & very good restaurants. Helpful host and plenty of useful information provided about the property and the town. Free dedicated parking is very useful. but is quite a walk away on opposite side of the harbour. Kitchen was very well-equipped, and lounge, with large smart t.v. was cosy and comfortable. Layout is somewhat quirky, but this is all very apparent from the details provided. and adds to the charm.

Unfortunately, the price paid for being on the harbour is that the fish landing and market is directly opposite, so there is noise from lorries and forklift trucks well into the early hours.

Fantastic true fisherman's cottage

I loved being right in the heart of the harbour and town in such a traditional cottage. The front door opens at the top like a stable door which let's the morning sun in. The tiny back yard is also a lovely space. The Jacuzzi bath a welcome bonus. The decor is perfectly suited to the cottage with lots of extra touches ,ornaments mirrors pictures etc which make it so homely.well equipped kitchen, more than enough pans plates etc. Of course the stairs are steep and windy, but this adds to the atmosphere. King-size bed on the top floor so comfy and a great view from it! All linen and bedding good quality . Small TV in dining room and huge TV in lounge. Superfast WiFi . I used public transport, town square for bus only 5 mins walk away.

Brilliant central location. Lovely sea views from all floors. Unusual quirky fisherman’s cottage. Lovely big bathroom.

We knew there would be noise from the Fish docks, but the noise from the Dartmouth Crab Company artic Lorries through the night was very loud & prolonged & disrupted sleeping.

We loved The location, very close to everything. The cottage was clean and cosy. Everything you need. Contact with owners very pleasant!!

Not for people who have problems with stairs. We loved The noices from The Working harbour but it might not be for everyone.

Delightful stay in a quirky Fisherman's cottage.

The Fisherman's cottage was delightful. In a perfect location with nice views upstairs. The bedrooms were spacious and the beds really comfortable. We paid extra to have the bedlinen and towels provided which was helpful. The kitchen was really well equipped with everything you could possibly need. Although the parking is a distance away, we were able to unload our luggage close by, then my son took the car to the dedicated parking space. Brixham Harbour is a beautiful place with many good restaurants, shops and bars. Would highly recommend.

The seagulls squawking, no one can do anything about that though! Take earplugs for night sleeping!

One of the most enjoyable, comfortable holiday stays we have had in a long time. Absolutely loved it

The location was fantastic, right in the heart of the harbour. Plenty of bars and restaurants with great choice. The transport links to vist Torquay or Kingsmear/Dartmouth were easy. Most of all the cottage was so comfortable, a real home from home. Loved it

As we are a litttle older we found the stairs hard on our knees at times, but we knew they were there and it was our choice to go with them, so not a problem

As I said, the cottage was absolutely perfect. The only negative was the steep steps up to the cottage , being disabled was a little difficult but we simply took our time up the steps and we were fine .

Fantastic location. Brilliant to have parking in Brixham! Cottage is cosy, spotlessly clean, very comfy and convenient for harbour and pubs etc. look forward to returning!

there are a lot of steps up to the property, so don’t carry lots of heavy bags from the harbour parking as they get heavier the further round you get! stairs are a little tricky so check the photos as they wind round. having said that we liked it, but might be a problem for some in the future if not aware.
