About this house rental

BESITOS HOUSE. We named it Besitos which means 'little kisses' because of the way this charming circa1930 house welcomes and comforts each guest. Located in the historic district of Georgetown and near Southwestern University. This little cottage is close to the downtown square where there are lots of shops and restaurants. The Palace theater is a community theater just off the square. Parks along the San Gabriel not far from downtown. One bedroom has a king bed, while the second bedroom has a queen bed and a twin bed. The Morning Room has a love seat which pulls out to a full size bed. TV's located in both bedrooms as well as in the living room. Full kitchen ready to cook. Relax on the front porch swing or retreat out back for a glass of wine and a good cigar.

The backyard is huge with a nice long driveway. The house is so cute and comfortable. Nice bug dinning room tabke to fit all of us at for family dinner.

The property was cute and well located.We were surprised to get a 50 charge for the toilet paper holder, which was wobbly when on arrival and fell out after a day. We are 4 cautious 80's folks who have stayed in many VRBO's for over a decade and have never had a nuisance charge like this.We were also told we may be hit with a charge for damage to the sprinkler system for parking on the lawn the first night - on arrival in the dark it was not clear to us where to park. There was no sign to stay off the grass and no notice on check in to stay on gravel road (driveway) to avoid sprinkler. In the day it was clear that there was no other property using the driveway but not at night.

This a very clean, comfortable, cozy rental. The location is close in town and easy access to all of Georgetown. The Unit was exactly as described, very nicely stocked, very nicely decorated, comfortable beds & an “At home” feel.

The home is renovated and is great. It was clean and the checkin process was very easy. The host was laidback and kinda let us be. The home comes well stacked for a few days with lots of linens. It felt comfortable to be at the house with no worries. One think I would have liked, for the property to have a front gate or fence. The house is wide open from the street. No issues with noise. We will stay there again.

The cottage is the perfect size for a couple or small family. It is super cute and very comfortable. We stayed 49 days and we found the bed to be very comfortable. We had plenty of cleaning products, laundry products, etc. The AC kept the house cool throughout the hot summer days. It was on and set to the perfect temp when we arrived. One of the things we enjoyed the most was the location. We walked most days into the downtown area and had lunch. We also enjoyed walks around the well established beautiful neighborhood. Jan was.a.great host and communicated well.Loved our stay, thank you, Jan!

This is our 2nd stay- perfect location for Southwestern families (walk 1 block from campus) or downtown Georgetown events. You can easily walk downtown (better than driving around looking for a parking spot) or ride your bike to San Gabe park and catch the trails. The home is clean, quiet and spacious for a family.

My husband and I enjoyed the nice and quiet neighborhood and conveniently close to downtown. Precious little home. All furniture and master bed were very comfortable. Super clean and the hostess was very nice and left a nice wine on the kitchen counter. I was able to take my little shih-tzu and she did great. We will be back again. Thank you!

The house is super cute, super clean, and has everything you need. Ceiling fans in both bedrooms, plenty of towels and comfortable beds and sheets. Kitchen is well-equipped and you can park under a car port. There is a grill, although we did not use it. Quiet neighborhood and easy check-in process. Would definitely stay here again.

We were in town to visit relatives. This was a beautiful, convenient, comfortable, and well-equipped remodeled older home for us and our dog. The sitting room off of the main bedroom was put to good use. We also enjoyed the Willie Nelson live album on the record player. The AC did it's job on the brutally dry and hot summer visit we had.

It keeps that classic home vibe with all the modern and updated connivences that individuals have come to expect in a vacation property at this time. I was able to conduct my business with no issues and had a very relaxing place to stay during my downtime. Would definitely stay here again. Jan the owner was available when needed and was a pleasure to communicate with.
