About this cottage rental

The "Widow's House" is a one-story house and it was recovered keeping moths and original features, especially its thick stone walls and its broken telhadinhos. It is contiguous to the house of Eido rated accommodation. These houses are separated by small terraces, transformed into pleasant seating areas. The authenticity of the surrounding ridges and savannas give them grace and natural beauty.

The "Widow's House", fully equipped for the temporary use of a family, or group, has 1 double bedroom, 1 double, 1 single room, 2 bathrooms, a living room all in stone, a small balcony that It serves as a dining room and a small kitchen that allows guests to self-organize.

Against the backdrop of the mountains of Alvão and Marão and the stunning mountain of Senhora da Graça, the "Houses of Eido," wrapped in silence, allow a healthy reunion with nature and recharge your energies.

The surrounding landscape is picturesque and quaint, cut and drawn by the mountains and hills, rich in native vegetation, including Carvalhas and chestnut.

The Municipality of Celorico de Basto, along with neighboring municipalities of Mondim and headboards, form the Terras de Basto, beautiful villages, green vine fields and solar quinhentistas with boxwood gardens and century-old camellias. Highlighting the immense solar, which envision the landscape and are part of the history of Basto people.
The Library Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa, enriched almost entirely with his booty, gave life and soul to Celorico Village.
The medieval castle of Arnoia and the Benedictine monastery on the outskirts of the county seat, is one of the jewels of the local heritage.

Local idílico para passar um fim de semana prolongado. A casa da Viúva é mais pequena que a casa principal, no entanto tem um charme que a caracteriza. Talvez pela decoração cuidada, pela envolvente campestre ou até pela receção calorosa e muito prestável das proprietárias. A repetir, sem dúvida!
