Charming, updated bungalow. Clean and comfortable with all the amenities of home - two bedrooms, natural woodwork, hardwood floors, updated bath, separate dinning area and fully furnished kitchen. Relax and enjoy the private deck. Convenient off-street parking in your own driveway. One queen sized bed and one full sized bed. Bed linens are included. Silver Beach has walking paths, concessions, changing facilities, access to the pier and lighthouse. Great spot for fishing, too! You will find great shops, restaurants, the Krasal Art Center, children's museum, beautiful public library, and, much more in downtown St. Joseph.
Walk around the neighborhood and soak in the stately elegance of Old St. Joseph's Historical District.

We loved being able to walk to the shops and the beach from this location. The house was charming. Beds were comfortable and the house was clean!

Our stay was a Friday-Sunday booking and the location couldn't have been more convenient to our nephew's wedding at The Whitcomb. Everything was tidy and neat and as expected. We had a some issues with exterior lighting not working while we were there and communicated that to Jodie. A blown circuit breaker resolved the large light over the patio/parking area, but where unable to resolve the exterior door lights turning on. I'm sure that those will be resolved soon, however.
My only thought on how it could possibly be better would be to have smart TV's. The television in the living rooms is small and the one is the spare bedroom is 20+ years old. I don't believe that it works, but it could have been unplugged. Otherwise, the cottage was pleasant and comfortable and I would recommend and rent it again if I needed to stay in the area.
