This Villa was exceptional! The owners and their cagnolino (doggie in Italian) were far above any other! The location was exceptional, easy access to Venice and Verona via public transportation. The flat had everything you'll need including air conditioning. There was a lot of history surrounding the villa itself.

This was a 6 Star experience; the village, the apartment, the Villa, the gardens and our hosts provided one of our all-time favourite stays.
The apartment, in converted farm buildings, had all we needed; a well-stocked kitchenette, a large and comfortable bed, a shower worthy of 5 stars on its own, and, views from every window. Especially from the kitchen window across the lawn to the ponds and trees.
The Villa is a family home; well loved and well maintained.
The gardens, approximately 5 hectares, were beautiful and spring meant the many rose bushes in full bloom. My husband was constantly observing wildlife; from water birds nesting in the large trees, to tortoise sunning themselves at the edge of the ponds, to Mama duck and ducklings, then kingfishers fishing for dinner and even squirrels escaping up tree trunks to get away from Nero the Villa dog who loved to accompany him.
Our hosts, Gabriella and Sondro, and Nero the dog, could not have been more welcoming nor more helpful. I need to add an extra star just for them. Thank you.
Finally, the village of Dolo is to be commended. Only a short walk, or even shorter drive away, you will find several supermarkets, many restaurants and bars and all kinds of stores. There is actually no need to go outside Dolo. If you want to live ‘La Dolce Vita’ then go no further.
But if you do, Padova is 15 km to the west and Venizia is 24 km to the east. And you can get a bus, to either, from the road outside the Villa.

Our villa was exactly as described on Stayz and was clean and comfortable. The whole estate is beautiful and of historical significance. The property is well located about 1 km to the centre of Dolo and centrally located to visit Venice, the Dolomites, Bassano Del Grappo, etc. Gabriella and Sandro were warm and welcoming hosts as was “ Nero “ our hound away from home! My wife and I highly recommend this property.

Jeder Zeit wieder. Gabriela und Sandro sind perfekte Gastgeber. Schöne Ferienwohnung. Guter Ausgangspunkt für Reisen in die Umgebung.
