We felt very welcome and had a relaxing, enjoyable stay.

Shelley and Joe were excellent hosts. The house was spacious, clean, and cosy. We enjoyed the quiet surroundings, breakfast in the garden, and stargazing at night. A very relaxing and memorable stay!

Since there are no restaurants near the accommodation, we brought our own food. The kitchen is well-equipped, but we wish the cooking pot were a bit larger and that kitchen paper were provided.

Lovely cottage and friendly host!

Lovely hidden gem in the middle of the Welsh countryside. So peaceful and quiet. Thanks to Joe for a friendly reception and some treats for the kids on arrival. Lovely little cottage and we made good use of the bbq! Aberystwyth and other sights a short drive away. But this is a great escape from the city.

It's clear when you book but as a reminder you should bring along food, drinks and snacks etc as the nearest store is not close! For us we enjoyed the isolation and quiet!

Location was really beautiful & peaceful and the accommodation was self catering. The unit was compact but had everything needed for a short stay (including tea and coffee) Shelly left lovely shortbread biscuits for our arrival (much appreciated) and gave advice about areas to fish nearby. Given the beautiful weather we had we were able to eat all our meals outside.

Wifi was available on the property, but not at the unit we stayed in (so just a short walk away to pick up the connection). If staying in bad weather space indoors for eating meals would be a little limited. We stayed whilst weather was fantastic, so outdoor meals were ideal and really lovely!

A beautiful secluded hut for those escaping a busy life

A small hut, beautifully and fashionably decorated - with a large outside space to explore and to enjoy nature. A very comfortable bed. The owners left very kind gifts and a beautiful note, with a phone number. But I couldn't phone because I had no signal. Very clean house.

The listing should better communicate that there was no wifi, and no phone signal. A welcome escape for many I'm sure, but as a female guest staying alone it was terrifying not having contact with the outside world, and not being able to use my phone to navigate to/from this secluded hut. I'd suggest an information folder for guests, and some shampoo/soap for shower too. Also, there was a coffee machine but no coffee pods. It was cold at times, and as mentioned - there was no information folder to explain how the boiler worked.

A comfy place to wind down and enjoy nature.

The Granary is quite remote, but that didn't bother us at all. We were out and about all day and it was nice to have a green, quiet place to come back to. The hosts are very friendly and helpful and we even got a hand-drawn map to help us reach a nearby lake. The house was really comfortable, big enough for the 5 people we were. There were also books and plenty of tourist material to help us explore the surroundings. I just wish we had some extra days.

An excellent place for a tranquil break. A comfortable and well equipped cottage with a friendly host. The location and setting ensured a good rest in a comfortable atmosphere. We were looking for a cottage within a reasonable distance of Tregaron and this worked for us.

The best cosy and relaxing short stay we've had for a long time. Just perfect.

The whole 2 night stay was truly wonderful. The accommodation was just perfect for us both and very cosy and welcoming. The surroundings where peaceful and quite and we really welcomed the solitude of our stay with our hosts close on hand should we ever need them.

Superb

The owners were a lovely couple from our part of the country, Kent. The surroundings were idyllic and quiet, surrounded by hills & trees. The property had everything you could ask for for self catering.

Only little snag was were hoping for a bath but couldn’t seem to get the hot water boiler set to dispense enough water for it. Settled for showers, which also had to be adjusted carefully to get a constant flow of warm water.

A piece of heaven on earth

An amazing place outstanding views, the cottage was just lovely, comfortable & very clean, the treatments were wonderful, the yoga room & prayer room was used daily, we left feeling rejuvenated, our hosts Shelly & Joe were very accommodating to all our needs, we hope to return next year 🙏
