About this house rental

Just outside Casting, located at the Geopark the hill and the valley of the Hunze, the hamlet Veenhof is built on a sandbar in the bog. An idyllic spot which is ideal for cyclists, walkers, riders and golfers. You can make beautiful bike rides from the holiday cottage, or nice walks with your dog. Pets are welcome with us. At about two kilometers away is the 18 hole golf course Semslanden and within five kilometers away are the four stars Riding Gasselte where to go for beautiful rides and day trips.
But nice place the towel on the beach of the beautiful swimming pool 't Nije Hemelriek is possible.

The house is comfortably furnished for two to five people. The living room has an open kitchen, dining and sitting area.
Satellite TV and wireless internet (free of charge) are available.

There is one double bedroom, one single bedroom and a loft where two people can stay overnight. The beds are fully made. There is a cot with accessories available.

The private driveway can park your car.
Bicycle rental Gasselte has a nice assortment of bicycles for rent.

The kitchen is fully equipped and has a microwave and a four-burner stove. Kitchen linen is provided.

The bathroom is equipped with shower, toilet and sink. Towels are provided. Also there is a washing machine for personal use.

The terrace and private garden (completely fenced) give an extra dimension to the holiday feeling. Pets are very welcome!

Our host was incredible: friendly, helpful, professional, and thoughtful. We’ve spent almost a month in Europe and they top the list of property hosts. My family and I loved the quiet location in Gieten. It’s out in the country, but still reasonably close to local sites and attractions. And the area is authentically Dutch and gorgeous! The house provided us with more than enough space inside and out for our family (5) and was well equipped for all our needs. Our only concern was that we were able to smell evidence that this property is pet friendly. I trust that this will be resolved by the host.

Het is een heerlijk huisje in een prachtige omgeving. Maar vooral de vriendelijkheid en de gastvrijheid was ongekend. We kregen bij aankomst frisdrank en we mochten zelfs de auto gebruiken om boodschappen te doen. Alleen misten we nog een vaatwasser, dan zou het helemaal prefect zijn.

We vinden het geen luxe vakantiewoning. Keukenuitrusting prima in orde. Bank en "fauteuils" niet comfortabel. Bekleding van eetkamerstoelen liet los. Kledingkast in masterbedroom is eigenlijk geen kast. Makkelijke stoelen buiten waren er niet, op verzoek kregen we er wel twee, met verstelbare leuning, erg plezierig. Er waren erg veel hinderlijke vliegen. (Binnen en buiten.) Drenthe: erg mooi.
