About this apartment rental
When visiting the Western Cape, no visit would be complete without visiting Franschhoek, which is nestled between towering mountains in the beautiful Cape winelands. This is the food and wine heartland of the country, where splendid wines are grown and top chefs create international cuisine. Here breath-taking scenery, warm hospitality, world class cuisine and the finest wines all combine to create lasting memories.
The Penthouse at Bijoux Square is perfectly situated in Huguenot Road, the main street running through Franschhoek and you cannot fail to be delighted by this stunning apartment. Impressively large with high ceilings, and absolutely central you will be very impressed. The apartment is fully-equipped for two people and can seat up to 8 for dining (although with the amazing restaurants you may not want to eat in!)
It has all mod-cons. Smart TV in each room, fully fitted kitchen, free WIFI, both bathrooms with bath and shower, air-conditioning, kitchen equipped with fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave, Cooker with quality cutlery and crockery etc. etc.
Washing machine and tumble drier, hairdryer.
The Master bedroom has one King Size bed and quality linen. Fitted wardrobes, mirrors, hairdryer, smart tv and aircon. Guest (second bedroo) has twin beds, sofa, smart tv, air-con and quality linen.
Franschhoek is a place of immense natural beauty which you can explore. The Franschhoek Pass offers stupendous views of the valley, village and the towering Simonsberg mountain. Take a drive up there in the early morning or in the evening for a superb viewing experience.
A popular weekly activity is to visit the Village Market where the community meets each Saturday under the trees in the NG Kerk Grounds. Delicious food, wines, crafts, art and live entertainment are available for your enjoyment. Here you can meet locals and tourists. The varied stalls provide delicious foods and drink, art, jewelry and a wide variety of crafts. It is a place where visitors can enjoy some fine foods, the best coffee and shop for treasures in arts and crafts.
Visiting a Wine Estate for wine tasting is obviously a must do thing in Franschhoek, especially if you like good wines. The Tram Wine trails are simply a must.

A lovely stay in this perfectly located apartment. Plenty of restaurants and shops within a short stroll and free parking on the roadside. All very convenient!
With the recent floods we had to make changes to our trip dates. Trish was a great source of advice and was extremely accommodating. Thank you!

This property blew our expectations. Everything from the start just worked. The communication was amazing and we felt at home from the moment we checked in.
The property itself was incredible. Full of character, high ceilings and luxurious furnishings. It was the escape to the winelands that we were desperate for.
The location is second to none. Right bang in the middle of Franschhoek, we could walk everywhere. But once we were inside, we could see mountains from the windows and the sounds of the streets were gone.
We will definitely be returning!
Rarely do i review properties. But this one needs to be shouted abour. Easiest 10/10.

Lovely apartment in the centre of Franschhoek surrounded by great eateries, galleries and shops. What’s not to like!

Having spent several days in a great apartment in Cape Town we were wondering what we had booked in Franschhoek. To say we were thrilled is an understatement!The owners have recently bought and refurbished the Penthouse and it is done with such style and comfort. Its impressive right from the start - as you walk up the stairs you are in awe of the wonderfully high ceilings.The owners have thought of everything - the kitchen is fully equipped, there is a washing machine and tumble drier, comfortable beds and great bedding. Free Wifi, latest TVs (and SA television has some great channels).We had breakfast on the small balcony each morning before wandering around fabulous Franschhoek. The apartment could not be more central, as there are shops both left and right. Our favorite coffee shop was The Hoek - about 100 yards up the road off to the right, but every restaurant and cafe was fabulous.We took the wine tram - a must! Ate in amazing restaurants and were so sad to leave Franschhoek and the fantastic Penthouse at Bijoux Square. We will have to return - Im saving already!
