I would give this place 5 stars if the kitchen future would be upgraded or replaced. The stools around the high dinner table are very much in bad shape. Every thing else was good.

Great updates. Floors excellent. Beds very comfortable. Fireplace room the furniture was very comfortable. We are Seniors so the furniture is important to us. It's a very nice house. Large. I would rent again.

Some friends and I met up in HMB and this was a perfect location. The house had great bedrooms, 2 living rooms, and a fantastic kitchen. Entering was easy and the owner was very responsive when we couldn't find the wifi information. We spent time hiking, exploring the downtown area, and had some great food. It was the perfect location for a weekend meetup with friends.

House was not clean when we arrived. Had to clean it and wash all towels as they were not clean. They were all in dirty clothes hamper. Washed all linens also. Found a drawer still full of pass renters underwear and socks. After we cleaned it was a spacious house. If it had been clean it would have been much better.

The single-story house was more spacious than it looks like in the photos, especially with the two living rooms, one of which has a pull-out bed that was comfortable. The kitchen is large and better stocked than any other VRBO we have been in. The house is in a quiet residential neighborhood. The back yard is large. All 7 of us thoroughly enjoyed staying there.

This home was perfect for our getaway with 3 couples. All 3 bedrooms are comfortable; the kitchen is large and well-stocked; the backyard was great for hanging out, grilling and playing the cornhole game we brought. It's a very pleasant 1 mile walk to the beach, and even closer to downtown. We had a lovely dinner at Pasta Moon, just 2 blocks away! We also enjoyed hiking Devil's Slide trail and visiting the town of Pescadero, and all of the beautiful beaches along Highway 1.

The house is huge. Our annual girls trip we chose relaxation at the beach. The trip did not disappoint. House is beautiful, short drive to the beach and Main Street for shopping. We each had our own room to sleep in, there a bonus 1/2 bathroom off of the kitchen(very convenient) The house is clean and tidy. Yes I recommend this house.

We didn’t rent a car and relied on Uber which was challenging. Nothing to do with rental. Neighbors in the area were awesome as we needed to get to a wedding and they drove us! Great home and area. Nice shopping, restaurants, all walking distance.

Location is great, price was great and the house is very spacious. Beds were comfy and lots of room for the family to spread out. Kitchen was pretty well stocked. The house was decorated nice with plenty of room to sit. We BBQ'd although the grill was somewhat dirty and the thermastat doesn't work, the tri-tip turned out good. Communication with owner could have been a little better. Apartment folks parked in front of the house our entire stay, so made do with just using the driveway. If there are more than 2 cars, this could be a challenge. Would book and stay here again.

We really enjoyed our stay here! It was a great location, we could walk to the downtown area and it was a short drive to some close beach access spots. We had a few kids and felt it was a great amount of space and they loved to play in the backyard area. I didn’t have to communicate much with Jeff, but he responded promptly. I would recommend!

The home was beautiful and accurate to photos. Right on Main Street and close to the beach, which was great. Simple check in, parking, and wifi. We did notice some previous guest clutter, and attempted to communicate this to the listing so they understood it wasn’t us who left the mess, but were essentially left ghosted with no response. Other than that the property is very accessible, beautiful, and spacious, but we may explore other local listings in the future with better communication. Overall it was lovely.

This was a great house for families. We had two crawling babies under a year old and it was surprisingly baby friendly (with a few decor items we voluntarily chose to move out of the way). The house is also very very quiet, which is incredibly useful for sleeping babies. The living room with the TV and the kitchen doesn’t share walls with two of the bedrooms, so you couldn’t hear a thing. Would highly recommend and we will be back!

The house was as described in the listing. It was very spacious and comfortable for our family of four. The location was great for seeing Half Moon Bay and the surrounding areas. The house is located directly next to and across the street from some apartment buildings but it was very quiet and felt secluded. It has recently been remodeled and had lovely decor. There was some dog hair on the sofas but fortunately, there were plenty of blankets and towels and we were able to lay those out and sit on them. Overall, I would highly recommend this property.

We found it very cold, needed to wrap in blankets to sit and watch TV. Electrical system overloaded....lights flashing when using appliances. Neighbors parked in driveway making it difficult to access. Backyard needs work if people are expected to use it

This house is a hidden gem! It looks OK on the outside, mixed in with apartments near downtown. But inside: spotless, comfortable, and spacious. The three bedrooms are huge, there is a den AND a living room. The use of the new and powerful washer/dryer was such a great perk. The kitchen had all tools needed to cook, grill, fry or toast. And the backyard is so quiet, with cute rock garden, rosemary bushes and trees. Easy to walk downtown for shopping and restaurants, or, a quick 20 minute walk to Poplar Beach (to save $10 parking fee). I highly recommend this house!

This is a great house for staying in the HMB area. It has everything a family needs for a relaxing stay. The place was very clean upon arrival. Bedrooms were spacious and the beds were comfy. Lots of bathrooms for our family to share. Washer/dryer were handy after beach outings and hikes. The backyard offers a lovely nature-y view plus plenty of private outdoor space. Check-in and check-out were seamless. Plus it's all one level so perfect for folks with mobility issues. Owner was super responsive. And location was great too - very close to Poplar beach and Main Street shops and restaurants.
