Alm-Ü

We loved the home away from home vibe to this villa! We stayed for just over a week and had everything we needed to keep our holiday relaxed. The villa has 3 bedrooms, 2 indoor fireplaces (one in the main bedroom) and an enclosed outdoor braai area (some wood was provided to get the holiday going). There was aircon, electric blankets, a dishwasher, an airfryer, a washing machine and tumble dryer (dishwasher tablets, washing powder, fabric softener and other necessary cleaning supplies were provided). We were treated with rusks, a chocolate and some milk to enjoy the coffee/cappuccino machine (that had more than enough coffee beans to keep us energized). Both bathrooms had large, full bottles of body wash, shampoo and conditioner, as well as warm lights to keep you warm when in the bathroom. The villa has WiFi, dstv, board games and a dart board for entertainment. Although we didn't need it, we still felt at ease knowing there are back up water and power systems in place should the town have any of those issues. Note that there isn't undercover/garage parking (we didn't mind), but the outside CCTV and alarm systems allowed us and our valuables to feel safe. The location is great, feels safe and is within walking distance to the main street (about 2 streets up). The photos don't do the size of the place justice, it's much bigger than it looks which makes it perfect for large families or groups (sleeps 7 adults comfortably). When collecting the keys, you also get a note with everything you need to know about the villa. Paul was fantastic (and quick) to answer any questions we had during our stay. We left feeling totally relaxed, it was very sad to leave :(

The place was so well appointed, furnished and clean. Location was ideal and communication from the owner was excellent.

Everything you need for a comfortable stay away from home. Plenty of wood to keep a fire going during cold evenings. We loved the coffee machine 😍
