Great location, friendly staff and nice clean good sized room and swimming pool. Breakfast was tasty and the mini mart was well stocked

Next to the road so not a great view

There us Everything what you need around- cash machine, scooter rent, restaurants, shops. The beach is just 5 min walking. The swimming pool was very clean. The breakfast was every day different and there was big choices.

The bed was very hard for me

It was nicely situated by river and easy walking to main beach. The pool was quite nice and a great feature. They also had free kayaks and at least one snorkel gear. The breakfast was good and in a very nice setting overlooking the river and small pier.

My room cabin did not offer a lot of privacy and had large sliding glass doors. However, if I closed the curtains it was very dark in the room due to lack of windows. The satellite tv had no English speaking stations though the clientele at hotel appeared to be from mostly Western countries. This is a problem with many Thai hotels.

Good value for the money, the location is clearly the major asset of this place as it's convientely located near the beach, it's a 3mn walk only, several restaurants are around, it's easy to discover the island from there. The man at the reception during the day speaks English, was kind and helpful, offering help when asked. They offer a cheap laundry service (be careful with the colors though, a white t-shirt in my black clothes was returned ruined) and a cheap scooter rental (nice scooter). The pool is also a pro of this place.

On the other hand, we were 2 and rented a 4 person bungalow, just know that it will be very tight for 4 people. It sometimes felt tight just for 2. We had our own little terrace which is nice. The bed are as hard as wooden planks, Wi-Fi existent but quite random, and the overall state of the bungalow was... vintage let's say. One of the mosquito net was broken, and you can see quick fixes everywhere in the room. Cleanness was definitely not their strength, as the bathroom clearly hasn't been cleaned before we arrived. Breakfast was ok but I had way better ones in Thailand. So overall good stay, good value for money, just don't expect too much of it!
