Baan Ploy In

We had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The room was clean and there was even an air purifier, which was a nice touch. On the second day, our room was cleaned, and fresh water and toilet paper were provided every day. The location is very convenient, with laundry facilities nearby. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, and the hotel itself was quiet, which made our stay relaxing. The breakfast was also very filling and satisfying.

This hostel is mainly for backpackers who just need a cheap place in a good location. The price and location are definitely good, but the cleanliness isn’t great — the bathroom really needs a proper deep clean/renovation. The most unpleasant part was the no-shoes rule inside the building. Everyone has to leave their shoes in lockers downstairs and wear old, shared flip-flops used by other guests (disgusting). Of course, we used our own indoor shoes instead, but still, this rule felt excessive and unnecessary. Another issue was the noise — the walls and doors are very thin, so you can hear every sound from the hallway and nearby rooms.
