Few basics must be included

Cleanliness , staff , comfort

Locks should be provided complimentary wirh lockers , atleast this shouldn't be charged extra for the safety of luggage, there was no in-house restaurant, third party restaurant was too expensive , no outdoor or rooftop place to chill except the expensive restaurant. Rest everything was fine .

Jaipur's best budget stay

Had an amazing stay at The Hosteller Jaipur City Centre! The location is fantastic, super convenient for exploring the city and close to the railway station. The hostel is clean, the atmosphere is vibrant and cozy, and the staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. Highly recommended, offers great value for money!

"Value for money"

We couldn't have a wink in the Volvo from Delhi to Jaipur and reached The Hosteller Jaipur at 5am and were allowed early check-in wihout any charges. All thanks to reception fellows, we were allotted 3 lower beds on request. We switched off AC and lights whenever we left our 10 bed dorm in the morning, we always found AC on in the afternoon, it was nice to return to a chilled room in the afternoon heat of Jaipur summer. This 10 bed dorm was devided in 2 rooms, ours had 6 beds. We were a group of 5, and the 6th bed was never let to anyone, which gave us the privacy of a private room. Drinking water was always available just outside the dorm. We went to Blackout club on last night, thanks to Reception for the recommendation. It was a happening place to celebrate my birthday 🎂 🥳 It was decorated with Rajasthani art, even corridor ceilings had Shekhawati paintings. The room doorlock had a safety PIN to enter to let someone in. We left our luggage always opened. Like all hostels, we could leave valuables, laptops with the reception. Location was good, not far from Volvo station as well as the junction.

I didn't realize Jaipur had 2 Hostellers On booking.com it gave impression that I was booking M.I road hosteller which is far better in size, area and amenities like cafe, indoor games etc. It was a disappointment when we landed up at the Hathroi Hosteller. There were 2 personal toilets in this 10 bed dorm, our toilet's floor should have been cleaner too. Floor tile choice was good but the area near the drain was turning pale.

This is what a backpacker deserves.

The cleanliness is exceptional. The staff is kind and works around the clock. It's very good. I was impressed at first because the price is very cheap. I got to know other travelers inside the hostel and it was one of my best experiences in India. I highly recommend booking this hostel.

Rooms were very clean Specially Bathroom felt kia 5star also Staff is really great very polite and humble Specially Rajender Paji kindest person there.

Renovation was under consideration so didn't had that much Game and there should be a Smoke room so that smokers can smoke rather then smoking outside very Humid

One of the best hostels I stayed in India. Great staff. Great facilities. Clean. Comfortable beds. Beside two very nice restaurants. Good showers and bathrooms. I had a great stay. They organised a rooftop party for Holi, it was amazing.

Overall a good stay! Great value for money

Overall our stay was nice. It is definitely recommended for short stays. We used this during an official visit and our stay was comfortable . Rooms are decent size. Toilets are good with all relevant accessories provided. There is work going on for rooftop cafe . That will be great addition for food once ready

needs a good scrub

The rooftop is great and the location is good being near some nice cafes, bars and restaurants. Easy to get a tuk to any cultural sights, beds are comfortable, guests in dorms were respectful

The place needs a good paint and scrub. even though the bedding was clean, the whole place felt dirty including the rooftop. There is a weird energy in the whole place, I didn’t really feel welcome, we switched to another hostel and we were much happier

Bunk Bed: The bed was of subpar quality and was making noise throughout the night. The Window ac was making a loud noise every 15 minutes that one couldn’t sleep. For the Delux Room: The curtain is placed in such a way that the light directly comes on your face in the early morning and you can’t Sleep. The fan was not directly on the bed and was far. For the Standard Double room: It is written in their details that the room has a cupboard. In fact, it shows in the picture also. But the room which was given had no cupboard and hardly any space to keep the stuff. The bathroom fresher is of subpar quality. Moreover, there is no exhaust fan so the smell of the fresher is gonna give you a headache. The hospitality of the hostel is not that great. They will give you next to zero attention about your concern and when you want to give them feedback. They would be like you can put it online. So here I am putting it online.

Dissapointing

Good location, very easy to get cabs/autos. The hostel organised for us to use one of their drivers Babu who was extremely helpful and insightful about Jaipur.

Really run down and shabby, could do with a massive clean. The bathroom had really strong cleaning products and deodorisers that give you a headache, to mask other smells. Guests are very disrespectful of a shared space - regularly playing music late at night, shouting, having conversations in the corridors at 3/4am, leaving lots of litter in shared areas. Not like the respectful/ sharing community found in lots of other hostels.

Disappointing with cramped room & very poor hospitality experience

Nothing except the terrace.

It’s cramped and suffocating. Room had no air and it felt like a prison in that small room without any ventilation. Host was also rude and cold with no support being provided, it’s more than 2x priced for its worth so quite useless.

The staffs were pretty much helpful and friendly, it was a pleasant stay.

Got my bed in the dormitory room on the upper deck, the bed/mattress was making squeaky noises with little movements.
