About this cottage rental

The house is situated in a calm area in the centre of Sault. A vibrant village to the east of Mont Ventoux.
Location for 2 people with possibility to rent a second bedroom for 2 more people at 200€ extra for 7 nights.
It's an old provencal village house restored by the owners.
Small and private walled garden on first level (near the loundge)
Famous for its lavender production and the unique production of "epeautre" a type of cereal used in local cooking. Sault is one of the six villages protected by UNESCO for its beauty and charm. The ancient construction of the house keeps its interior cool in the summer and every care has been taken to preserve the charm of the house whilst offering every modern comfort.

Lovely Provençal house in the centre of Sault. Feels more like a home than a holiday let. Easy parking close by and great bike storage. Super artworks by Mirielle all around the house . Plenty of places to eat and drink

If you are looking for an interesting place to stay with loads of character this fits the bill. Tastefully painted and decorated by the owner with welcoming touches such as fresh flowers. Compact accommodation on multiple levels with pleasant small garden and separate, secure bicycle storage. The apartment is right next to the church and you will hear the bells. Sault made an excellent base for our cycling holiday.

We had a wonderful time staying at Roy and Mirielles 'I Oustau De Mireio' home in the very picturesque village of Sault. Roy and Mirielle met us upon arrival and made us feel very welcome and at home. The house itself is very 'Provence' and is beautiful and quite quirky in a nice way. Tasteful decour is relaxing and pretty. The house is situated right in the heart of the very pretty and peaceful village of Sault, ideal for visiting other places of interest in Provence and with some nice little restaurants and bars. It is very quiet and if that is your like it is ours you will thoroughly enjoy your stay here.

This is a wonderful place to spend a holiday. The house is very conveniently situated in a quiet street in the centre of the village. It is very spacious, comfortable, exquisitely decorated and and has been equipped with the utmost thought and care. Roy and Mireille welcomed us very warmly with a gift of wine and home made jam, a lovely touch. We stayed from late August to September but would love to return in spring. Many thanks for making our stay in Sault so memorable.

We had a pleasant stay in this newly restored old town house right in the centre of Sault. Very clean and tidy property, with loads of room for two people over 3 floors. It is a very old traditional french house located in a narrow pedistrian only street, with plenty of free parking close by. Very well equipped and owners very friendly and helpful. Good value rental. Note that the staircase is old and has a few twists and may be difficult for some, this is pointed out by the owner in the advert.

The house has 5 levels that can be reached by a few stairsteps. Small quiet garden on the level of the living room. Decoration is a bit old fashioned, but has a certain charm. Next door is a shed where bikes can be parked safely. Although we rented the complete house, one of the 2 bedrooms was closed and we were kindly asked not to use one of the 2 bathrooms (except for the toilet). A bit strange ... The house is located near the church, but still in a quiet area. Nice for a few days on the bike in the beautiful surroundings.

Wir hatten eine wurdeschöne Zeit in Sault welches zu einem der schönsten Dörfer Frankreichs gehört. Uns hat besonders gefallen das alles so nah war, der (super) Bäcker oder verschiedene Restaurants und Bars keine Minute zu Fuß entfernt. Roy (Engländer) und Mireille sind wunderbar hilfsbereit und superlieb auch die Ausstattung lässt keine Wünsche offen :-)

Agreable petite maison a etage. Ns avons apprécié le jardin pr y prendre les qq repas et se detendre. Aucun bruit sinon les cloches de l eglise. Ruhig aber zentral gelegen. Man befindet sich mitten im Geschehen. So ist man der französischen Lebensart sehr nah. Uns hat der Aufenthalt sehr gut gefallen. Sault ist ein Ausgangspunkt für viele Erkundungen der Provence. Und Sault hat gute Restaurants, Bäcker, Schlachter uvm. mit guten Produkten.

Mireille et Roy sont vraiment très sympathiques et, même si nous nous sommes peut-être moins vus cette année, le contact est toujours aussi chaleureux et cordial. Appartement très original, décoré par une artiste où l'on se sent bien à l'aise, surtout avec la petite cour intérieure. Endroit très calme dans la superbe petite ville de Sault, très agréable pour les promenades du soir. Sans compter la région qui est superbe.

Sie sind zu zweit und lieben die Beschaulichkeit, dann sind sie hier richtig. Das liebevoll instand gesetzte Dorfhaus l`Oustau de Mirèio von Mireille und Roy im Herzen von Sault gelegen bietet ihnen alles um einen angenehmen Urlaub zu verbringen. Von hier aus erreichen sie zu Fuß alle Örtlichkeiten wie Restaurants, Metzger, Bäcker, Supermarkt in weniger als 5 Minuten. Als Ausgangspunkt für viele Sehenswürdigkeiten ist Sault sehr gut geeignet. Die Wohnung selbst ist zweckmäßig eingerichtet und gliedert sich in 3 Ebenen. Die Küche, den Wohnbereich sowie das Schlafzimmer. Alle Räume sind liebevoll ausgestattet und bieten dem Bewohner ein angenehmes zu Hause. Wir haben in der ersten Maiwoche einen schönen und erholsamen Kurzurlaub hier verbringen können. We enjoyed one great week in a wonderful old french house in the middle of the city. The house is small and cozy with very lovely interior and beautiful paintings :-) and a small terrace/garden. Roy & Mireille welcomed us very warmly and gave us some recommendations (e.g. restaurants, ecologic lavender diestillery). The small city is very lovely and the surrounding landscape with the Mont Ventoux very beautiful - both worth to be explored. We would love to stay in this accommodation again.

Très agréable gîte aménagé avec goût et bien équipé. La cour intérieure, fraîche et ombragée doit être appréciable en été. Grand calme en plein cœur du village. Et une belle région un peu méconnue à découvrir !
