BRIGHT AND REFINED VILLA WITH POOL IMMERSED IN THE GREEN OF THE HILLS OF LUCCA

This is a beautiful villa set in large grounds with a huge swimming pool, where is deep enough to jump in, but with a shallower ledge the whole way around. The salt water is much better than chlorine. The children enjoyed the pool so much it was difficult to get them to leave the villa. Inside the air conditioned villa is very well equipped and comfy. We would definitely stay here again. Lucca is a delightful, friendly town with ample cheap parking and plenty to see and do. We much preferred it to the bigger tourist destinations such as Pisa. Only thing to note is that, if going in summer (particularly at the end of a heat wave) take plenty of mosquito repellent and watch out for wasps.

A very spacious and splendid house. Rooms are very comfortable and each with its own bathroom. The kitchen is convivial and well equipped as well: microwave, dishwasher, coffee possibility. The garden is very quiet, and the large pool is perfect and well kept. The owners are quick, efficient and friendly. A beautiful property run by very friendly people The proximity to Lucca (20 minutes by car) is ideal for tourism and shopping. Lucca and Pisa are nearby.

The location is quiet and surrounded by nice landscape. You are ideally positioned in the middle of nature and 20 km from the beach / 10 km from Lucca. Firenze and Sienna are approx 1h travel which is very convenient for the visits. The house is very well furnished and with a great swimming pool. It is to share with other inhabitants but it is largely big enough. Nicola is providing good advices and is available to help whenever necessary. In summary : a perfect location for a relaxing stay in beautiful Toscany !

Ein grosszügig angelegtes und gut eingerichtetes Ferienhaus (samt Bibliothek!) in ländlich-ruhiger Lage. Viel Platz, um sich irgendwo zu zerstreuen. Der Pool wurde auch im Oktober noch von dem sehr zuvorkommenden Vermieter instand gehalten. Was unsere Teenager als suboptimal beurteilen, ist das schwache WLAN... - ein idealer Ort zum entspannten Abtauchen.

La casa è come si vede nelle foto, anzi meglio. Nicola ti accoglie con il sorriso, ti spiega le cose importanti e sei già in vacanza. Bellissima la zona giorno della casa, meglio che in foto. Le camere sono ben vivibili, due su tre hanno il bagno in camera. Piscina grande e ottima in questo agosto super caldo. I negozi più vicini non si raggiungono a piedi ma lo avevamo messo in conto, in compenso la pace che si gode nella casa è veramente superlativa. Intorno il verde è ovunque, spesso abbiamo visto delle upupa nel prato dietro la villa. La cucina ha veramente tutto ed il BBQ completa la scelta. Lucca merita una visita ma da qui anche andare sulla costa o in altre città da visitare ci si mette poco. Ottima esperienza!

We had an amazing stay, the house is very comfortable and light with on one side, a view on the pool and on the other a view on the Tuscany landscape. Pisa and Lucca or worth a visit and just half an our drive away. Nicola is a really friendly host, and only a phone call away when you need advice or tips on wine or restaurant recommendations. All in all a perfect Italian holiday.

We have never celebrated a holiday in such a beautiful home as this one! Very modern, neat, spacious. With a beautiful view at the rear and a spacious garden at the front. The pool was lovely: regularly cleaned, nice temperature and sufficiently large. The owner was very helpful with any requests or questions. The area surrounding the house is perfect for a bike ride or walk. Towns as Lucca and Pisa and the beach are very close for trips. The holiday home had all imaginable facilities. Excellent air conditioning, excellent kitchen appliances, washing machine etc. One small minus was the power of the wifi. It was just enough to open a news app or email, but not enough to stream anything. The owner indicated that this will be improved. But this little something was absolutely no hindrance for us to come back to this lovely place again!

È stato un soggiorno rilassante e confortevole. Ci siamo sentiti come a casa anzi meglio (a casa non abbiamo la piscina!) Bella la casa, bello il panorama, Nicola una persona squisita e gentilissima. Che dire: peccato che sia finita!!!

8 giorni meravigliosi in questa villa con piscina in Balbano. Nicola ci ha accolto cordialmente ed è stato sempre disponibile e gentile. La villa è moderna con tutti i confort davvero un posto perfetto immerso nella natura tra le colline toscane gli ulivi e gli alberi da frutto. Piscina sempre pulita e enorme! Aria condizionata in tutte le stanze, elettrodomestici come nuovi tanto spazio e mobili antichi pregiati mescolati alla modernità della casa. Bagni per ogni camera da letto, un barbecue per delle grigliate con vista. Una vacanza perfetta. grazie Nicola

Tout est prévu par Nicola pour que le séjour soit parfait. La maison est très bien équipée. Les visites de Pise, Sienne, Florence, les 5 terres, San Giminianno, Lucques sont possibles sans trop perdre de temps en voiture. Chouettes vacances malgré les contraintes sanitaires. A conseiller pour des vacances aux calmes avec une grande piscine.

Wir waren schon in vielen Häusern untergebracht, dieses ist einfach super und auf jeden Falle weiter zu empfehlen. Von der Sauberkeit, Freundlichkeit, Ruhe und Ausstattung das beste in den letzen 10 Jahren.

Très belle location fidèle à l’annonce. Merveilleusement située - à 10 min des commerces, 15 min du centre de Lucques - nous avons pu aller à Pise, Florence , Sienne, le Parc National de 5 Terres. Maison très vaste, très bien équipée, piscine très agréable et entretenue chaque jour - environnement très calme. Nicola est très agréable, sait être discret mais présent en cas de besoin. Si nous retournons dans la région, je sais que nous reprendrons cette location

Nicolas Ferienhaus bietet ausreichend Platz für 6 Personen, ist gepflegt & sauber und hat Alles, was man im Urlaub benötigt, an Ausstattung. Fast alle Fenster sind mit Fliegengittern ausgestattet und es sind einige elektrische Insektenstecker gegen die Mücken vorhanden. Das WLAN ist nun, mit Hilfe eines WLAN Repeaters, im ganzen Haus verfügbar. Nicola ist dabei, die WLAN-Geschwindigkeit zu verbessern. Der Garten ist wunderschön und der Pool perfekt. Der Pool hat einen Treppeneinstieg und zusätzlich eine Leiter. Auf der Treppenseite ist er ca. 1 m tief und fällt nach ein paar Metern auf 2 m Tiefe ab. Umlaufend am Rand ist ebenfalls ein ca. 1 m tiefer und ca. 30 breiter Streifen, so dass man überall am Rand stehen kann. Das Wasser roch gar nicht nach Chlor, sondern war lediglich ein wenig salzig. Balbano ist ein sehr ruhiger Ort. Mit dem Auto erreicht man von dort aus aber viele besondere Sightseeing Punkte der Toskana (Lucca, Pisa, Florenz, Pistoia, San Gimignano, Volterra, Carrara Berge,…). Nicola kann Tipps geben, welche die besten Strände sind. Im Nachbardorf Nozzano Castello hat uns Nicola eine Privatführung durch die Burg über dem Städtchen vermittelt. Wir durften Nicolas eigenen Wein & sein Olivenöl testen und waren begeistert. Vielen Dank für den unvergesslichen Urlaub in diesem traumhaften Domizil! Nicolas cottage offers enough space for 6 people, is well maintained, clean and has every facility you need on holiday. Almost all windows are equipped with fly screens and there are some electrical insect plug against the mosquitoes available. Due to a new WiFi-Repeater, the WiFi is now available throughout the complete house. Nicola plans to improve the WiFi-Speed. The garden is beautiful and the pool is perfect. The pool has a staircase and in addition a ladder. On the side of the stairs it is about 1 m deep and drops after a few meters to 2 m depth. Around the edge is also a 1 m deep and 30 cm wide strip, so you can stand anywhere at the edge. The water did not smell of chlorine; it was just a little salty. Balbano is a very quiet place. By car you can reach many of the most interesting sightseeing spots in Tuscany (Lucca, Pisa, Florence, Pistoia, San Gimignano, Volterra, Carrara mountains,...). In the neighboring village of Nozzano Castello Nicola has mediated us a private tour through the castle. We were allowed to test Nicolas selfmade wine & own olive oil and were excited. Thank‘s for the unforgettable holiday in this dreamlike domicile!

La maison est moderne et parfaitement équipée. Les 3 chambres disposent chacune de leur salle de bain complète, avec wc, la cuisine est tout à fait équipée et nous nous sommes vraiment sentis accueillis avec de l’eau, du vin, de l’huile d’olives et des fruits. La piscine est grande, parfaitement entretenue tous les jours avant 8h et tout à fait privée. Depuis Lucca nous pouvons facilement visiter cette magnifique région : Florence, Pise, Sienne, San Gimignano, Viareggio etc. Le propriétaire, Nicola, est discret mais immédiatement présent si nous avons besoin de lui, depuis la réservation jusqu’au départ. Bref, un lieu à recommander chaudement. Tout était parfait! Grazie mille Nicola

Hier lassen sich alle Urlaubswünsche vereinbaren: Ausflüge in die schöne Toscana, Sightseeing in den wunderbaren Städten und Orten der Umgebung, besonders natürlich in Lucca ganz in der Nähe. Man kann aber auch den gepflegten Pool, den Garten und die beiden Terrassen genießen. Auch Gehbehinderte kommen hier gut zurecht! Das Haus ist sehr gut ausgestattet, die Klimaanlagen bieten Abkühlung, wenn es mal ganz heiß wird. Es ist an alles gedacht! Kleiner Wermutstropfen: das Internet ist instabil, insbesonere abends. Trotzdem: wir können das Haus uneingeschränkt empfehlen, denn wir haben uns dort sehr wohl gefühlt!

Das Haus ist wirklich sehr schön und groß genug für 6 Erwachsene. Jedes Zimmer hat ein eigenes Badezimmer. Die Küche ist neu und sehr gut ausgestattet, das Wohn- und das Esszimmer sind schön eingerichtet und bieten auch genügend Platz. Sehr gut gefallen hat uns auch der Aussenbereich mit großem, gepflegten Pool und genügend Sonnenliegen zum chillen. Bis nach Lucca sind es ca. 10-15 Minuten Fahrzeit, ein Auto ist daher Pflicht. Die Kommunikation mit Nicola lief super, er hat uns nett begrüßt und uns alles gezeigt. Das einzige kleine Manko ist das WLAN, das hat im Haus nur selten funktioniert. Ansonsten können wir dieses Ferienhaus absolut weiterempfehlen.

Dans un premier temps, j’ai eu de très bons échanges avec le propriétaire lors de la location de la maison. Ses réponses sont très réactives et il est à l’attention de nos demandes : par exemple : je prends toujours mon plat à paella et il a acheté la bouteille de gaz avec le détendeur pour éviter que je porte la mienne. Le lieu de notre séjour est magnifique, calme et proche de tout : commerces, ville de LUCCA, plage. La maison est entourée d’olivier et de vigne, c’est magique. A l’intérieur, la maison est propre, 3 chambres pour 3 sdb donc l’idéal. Tout est moderne et pratique : la cuisine donne directement sur la terrasse extérieure. Il y a deux terrasses : une pour déjeuner le matin et l’autre pour le midi quand le soleil a tourné. Le propriétaire habite à côté mais il est très discret et est disponible si vous avez le moindre soucis. En conclusion : une location à recommander fortement.

Nous étions 5 adultes et un enfant de 2 ans. Nous avons passé une très agréable semaine chez Nicolas. La maison est très fonctionnelle, la grande piscine a fait le plaisir de tous et la localisation est idéale (commerces à 10’ et villes de caractères proches pour les adeptes des visites). Cependant le lieu invite surtout à la lecture et au farniente. Nicolas est très sympathique et discret. Il est toutefois très serviable si vous avez besoin de lui.

Wir (2 Erwachsene, 2 Kinder) haben zum 2. Mal eine Woche in diesem schönen Haus verbracht. Nicolas hat uns wieder sehr herzlich empfangen und ist stets zuvorkommend und freundlich. Dieses Mal hatte es im Wohnbereich und in den beiden grossen Zimmern sogar eine Klimaanlage. Top! Das Internet ist leider etwas träg. Die Umgebung zeigt sich malerisch und lädt zum Relaxen ein. Der Pool wird jeden Tag von Nicolas selbst gereinigt. Wir haben diese Woche sehr genossen! Danke!

La villa est située au calme et à l’abri des quelques voisins. La belle et grande piscine est entretenue le matin tôt par le propriétaire. Il est sympathique, d’une parfaite discrétion, mais toujours disponible pour vous donner les renseignements utiles pour vos visites. La villa est super équipée, rien ne manque! Vous y passerez, comme nous, d’excellentes vacances.

Das Haus ist wunderschön, groß, sauber und sehr gepflegt. Alles was man benötigt ist vorhanden. Ob elektrische Geräte in der Küche, mehr als genug Handtücher, Weingläser und viele kleine Details, alles ist da. Der Garten ist ein Traum. Man wohnt zwischen den Rebstöcken und den Olivenbäume im eigenen Garten. Die Ruhe und Privatsphäre ist perfekt. Ein weiteres Highlight für uns war der sehr große Pool, der von Nicola jeden Tag gereinigt wurde. Auch die Lage des Hauses war für uns perfekt. in 20 Minuten im schönen Lucca. In einer Stunde in Florenz. In einer Stunde in La Spezia als Ausgangspunkt für Cinque Terre undi n 70 Minuten in San Gimignano. Wie bereits oben erwähnt alles perfekt. Wenn wir könnten würden wir 7 Sterne vergeben. The house is beautiful, big, clean and well maintained. Everything you need is available. Whether electrical appliances in the kitchen, more than enough towels, wine glasses and many small details, everything is there. The garden is a dream. You live between the vines and the olive trees in your own garden. The peace and privacy is perfect. Another highlight for us was the very large pool, which was cleaned by Nicola every day. The location of the house was perfect for us. in 20 minutes in the beautiful Lucca. In an hour in Florence. In one hour in La Spezia as a starting point for Cinque Terre and at 70 minutes in San Gimignano. As mentioned above everything is perfect. If we could we would give 7 stars.

Da war zunächst der herzliche Empfang vom Besitzer und seiner Tochter. Wir wurden zunächst herumgeführt und alles erklärt. Luxus pur im Haus mit modernster Technik wie Solar und Lüftung und Klima. Jedes der drei Schlafzimmer mit eigenem Bad mit bodentiefer Dusche. Moderne Küche mit allen Geräten. Das ein oder andere Kochutensil wäre noch hilfreich gewesen..aber improvisieren macht auch Spass. Der riesige Garten lud zum Enspannen ein und der große Pool konnte schon morgens für die ersten Bahnen genutzt werden, da er bis 8Uhr immer vom Besitzer täglich gereinigt war. Ein rundum gelungener Urlaub.
