About this house rental
Villa Gentilina is located in a quite street in Stiava a small village 6 kms far from Viareggio. Surrounded by a nice and green garden, it features private parking for 2 cars accessible by automatic gate. The house is nearly 150 sqm, there are 3 double bedrooms, 2 bathroom ( one with tube ), 2 living rooms, dining rooms, fully equipped kitchen, veranda looking the back yard and the pool. This patio is the perfect place to enjoy breakfast.
Two bedrooms on the first floor, soft and high quality bed linen, are very nice, quite and bright. The baby cot is available in request. The master bedroom has a very nice and romantic balcony.
Air conditioning on the first floor for the 2 bedrooms.
One double bedroom on the main floor with its air-conditioning.
Two bathrooms one with shower and one with tube, high quality cotton bath towels provided.
There are 2 areas where you can enjoy your meals: the dining room, the large table under the umbrella facing the garden and the pool in the garden .
The house is completed furnished in 70s style with authentic original furnishing.
The kitchen is equipped with : fridge/freezer, oven, 4 stove, microwave, dishwasher, american coffee maker, mixer, blender, kettle, toaster pots/ pans/ dishes and everything to cook and serve. Kitchen and table linen provided. Children high chair available.
There are 2 comfortable living room: 2 large sofa ( 3 and 5 places ) the cocktail area, flat satellite tv.
Outside in the garden ( which is entirely secure and close by gates ) there is the pool with sun umbrella, chairs and bed in real teak wood, pool towels, then there is a large dining table under the umbrella which can seats up to 8 persons, we have also the barbecue and on the other side of the garden we have the ping pong table.
The house is perfect for families with children.
Pets are allowed upon request.
In 10 minutes by car you are in Viareggio, the land of beach, sea, restaurants and shopping.
In 20 minutes by car there is Pietrasanta famous for its artistic life and restaurants.
In 25 minutes by car we are in Forte dei Marmi the glamour town of fashion, restaurants and renovate boutiques.
Pisa is about 35 minutes by car, Firenze 1 hour and Lucca 35 minutes.
Villa Gentilina is perfect for your holidays in the countryside but very very close to the beaches and the night life and the shopping.
The house has air conditioning on the first floor and in the bedroom on ground floor, flat tv, internet wi-fi. The kitchen is fully equipped, table and kitchen linen are provided as well as bed and bath linen.

We enjoyed the house with its garden and pool very much. It is a very charming place. The house has a good charma and is fully equipped (kitchen, air conditioning etc). The best feature is the pool and the privacy since the garden is surrounded by 5 meter high hedges. The host (Stefania) is extremely friendly and helpful.

We enjoyed this villa with pool in this quiet neighbourhood. The whole lot is fenced and for private use.
The house has a 70s charm and everything you need for nowadays living. Two double bedrooms upstairs share a bathroom, one double bedroom with bathroom downstairs, two livingrooms (tv, books, games) and a large kitchen with dining table with access to the terrace and garden.
The garden and terraces are lovely. The table outside easily seats eight
Our car and our friend’s car fitted on the private property.
Within minutes you find other villages, grocery shops and Viareggio at the beach. Daytrips to Pisa, Lucca and beaches. A car is highly recommended.
Stefania is a happy lady with a big smile, lots of knowledge of things to see and do, restaurants, and she lives only a couple of minutes away just in case.
Everything is set for a relaxed holiday. We can surely recommend a stay here!

The house was very nice, decorated in 70s style, it is a somewhat older house, but everything functions. Our host, Stefania was very kind and friendly and made us feel welcome and at home. She also explained everything.
The garden is a dream with a pool and lots of shade and places to sit.
One remark, the roads to and the access to the house are challenging with medium size cars, we drove a SUV and it wasn't easy.
We had a very nice stay in Villa Gentillina and when we'll visit the area again, we will definitely stay at this house again.

Das Haus liegt in einer ruhigen Seitenstraße. Fußläufig sind sowohl ein kleines Lebensmittelgeschäft wie auch einer Pizzeria erreichbar. Ebenfalls nur wenige Gehminuten sind es bis zu einer Apotheke und einem medizinischen Zentrum (vergleichbar mit den Ärztehäusern in Deutschland).Das Haus verfügt über einen sehr großzügigen und gepflegten Garten. Das ganze Grundstück ist von einer dichten Hecke bzw. Mauer umgeben, so dass man seinen Aufenthalt dort völlig ungestört genießen kann. Ein besonderes Glanzstück ist in unseren Augen der Pool. Er ist nicht nur mit verhältnismäßig groß, sondern ist als Besonderheit mit Salzwasser gefüllt, was gegenüber dem gewöhnlichen Chlorwasser unserer Meinung nach deutlich angenehmer für die Haut ist; außerdem verursacht es keine Augenreizungen, was insbesondere für kleine Kinder sehr vorteilhaft ist. Ein nettes Detail ist die Außendusche, welche nach einem erfrischen Bad sehr willkommen ist, um das Salzwasser abzuspülen.Reizvoll sind auch die zahlreichen Sitz- und Liegegelegenheiten, welche im Garten verteilt sind. Je nach Tageszeit findet man fast immer einen Platz, welcher angenehm im Schatten liegt.Das Haus selbst ist sehr durchdacht. Die Küche mit Esstisch liegt direkt am Hinterausgang zum Garten hin. Ein kleiner Wintergarten ist vorgebaut, der bei bewölktem oder regnerischen Wetter sehr nützlich ist, um nasse Kleidung zu trocknen. Direkt an der Küche liegt ein sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtetes, großes Wohnzimmer. Im Erdgeschoss ist außerdem noch ein kleines Bad und ein Schlafzimmer vorhanden. Letzteres wissen insbesondere Teenager zu schätzen, da sie dort etwas Abstand zu den Eltern haben.Im Obergeschoss befinden sind nochmal zwei Schlafzimmer und und großes Badezimmer. Alle Zimmer sind modern und liebevoll eingerichtet. Eine zentrale Klimaanlage sorgt auch im Hochsommer für angenehmes Raumklima.Unser Fazit: Das Haus ist ein phantastisches Feriendomizil, das wir uneingeschränkt empfehlen können; insbesondere für Familien mit Kindern.
