Comfortable stay in a stunning location
g location within the grounds of “Britain’s most scenic racecourse“. We were able to watch two electrical storms 100 miles away to the north and south AND see shooting stars from the Perseids meteor shower, on the same night. The rooms were clean, comfortable and simply decorated. The kitchen was small but serviceable and the two shower rooms were clean with plenty of hot water. Check in and out we're straightforward and privacy was excellent.
Only single beds (2 guests x 3 rooms). Fridge was underpowered - fresh milk did not last 2 days - and probably needs to be replaced. No dishwasher or washing machine probably limits the length of stay. Access to a car is essential for this property.
