If you come to Alba for the historic center, there is no better location that this hotel. Park in front of the hotel, then it's a 5 minute walk to the cathedral.
As in most Romanian cities, there is always noise/music outside. The room has shutters to block the outside when you want to sleep in a quiet room which fixes the issue.

Very close to the train station, central park, monuments, and activities.
Very clean. Possible to late check-in.
Mini-fridge prices are not exorbitant.
10 minute walk to "Fat Boy" non-stop restaurant if you get hungry at night.
Electronically controlled metal curtains in case you want to sleep in.
