Hotel O Mall Of Indonesia

Nothing, except the staff behavior.

On my first trip to Indonesia, Reddoorz near Mall of Indonesia was the first stop and I am highly disappointed by the quality of the room. I especially condemn websites like Agoda, Booking.com and Hotels.com for not showing the actual photos of the hotels. This hotel might be budget-friendly, but the room cleanliness and facilities were dismal. Let me list the cons. 1. The room size was small with just the bed taking much part of the room. I would like to ignore the room size as I was at the hotel only for a night. Redoorz needs to learn from services like OYO in terms of maintaining cleanliness in the room. 2. The linen had stains and the entire room was dusty. 3. The bathroom was even smaller with barely any space to move around. Objects like the shower head, faucet and metallic handles were rusty as if the room had not been used for a long time. 4. Beware of mosquitoes which disturbed me the whole night. The hotel staff did provide me an anti-mosquito spray, but it did not keep the mosquitoes away. I suggest the hotel provide a mosquito repellent liquid vaporizer. 5. THE MOST IMPORTANT POINT: THE WATER SUPPLY IN THE HOTEL IS VERY SALTY. PLEASE FIX THIS IMMEDIATELY. I COULD NOT GURGLE OR WASH MY MOUTH BECAUSE OF THE SALTY WATER. I CHECKED OUT THE NEARBY RESTAURANTS AND HOUSES WHERE THE WATER WAS NORMAL. SO THIS IS A GENUINE ISSUE WITH THE HOTEL. 6. Location was also not strategic. One can find better hotels near Jakarta Station or near Merdeka Square.
